tRump ramps up "Wall" building with election looming.

Okay. The new WALL has already been scaled and hacked-through multiple times. Proving its ineffectiveness.
That said, I fully understand your deflection concerning Mexico's non payment. If I had been that politically naive to have believed it, I wouldn't want to discuss it either.

By the way, I see that you also omitted what percent of the total wall erection that has been completed. Again, I fully understand why.......)

No, proving that it takes much more work to get over or through it than where there's little or nothing. Also, there's no real way to prove how many people were deterred from even trying to get through or over it. You are incorrect that it is ineffective. It clearly isn't going to be completely effective, but that doesn't make it completely ineffective either.

It is not COMPLETELY ineffective. Just as a strainer is not completely ineffective for holding water. A few drops will stick to the metal. But I'm pretty sure that there are far more efficient ways to do it. Of course Mexico wouldn't be willing to pay for those.

Maybe the wall should contain electronic devises that will alert the authorities when someone attempts to breach a wall?

It does, and the Border Patrol has drones, cameras, and other devices to back up the wall for observation of what's going on until agents can arrive.

Show me the "pesos" amigo.

If you are using Chinese made blades, you are wasting your time as they are so crappy it takes forever to cut anything.

Maybe tRump built sections of the Wall-to be cut through - to revive the "Made in America" saw blade industry?.......)....LMAO

Past that, show me the "pesos".

With that technology, it's evident that trump's wall is a gross waste of money. It's only meant to incite his base, who are the only ones that believe he built an wall.

I'm guessing you never picked up a tool in your life.

I will give TAG a little credit. He tries to avoid looking like he "drinks the tRump kook-aid" but isnt quite there yet. Try as he might, he still cant control the "tRump blind allegiance" habit of posting.

Actually, I own far more tools than you do, including one of these:

By the way, this is what it takes to cut through one of the columns in the wall being used. This is exactly the same materials but pipe instead of A36 or A500 steel. The concrete will be the same.

It isn't so simple as "Grab your sawzall and a couple minutes of work..."

That's not a tool. And no. You don't own anywhere near the number of tools that I do. If I were going to cut through a section of wall, I'd use an 18 volt grinder with a steel disc. If there were concrete in the steel (it isn't solid), then I'd simply change to a masonry disc once the steel was cut (like butter).

But they're having lots of success with sawzall blades for the steel.

Yea...I'm sure the newb thought he was going to shake this place up.

Money he stole from the military. I never thought the “patriots” would go for that.

It is "equipment" and that's the same as tools. An air compressor (own several), portable generator (own a couple), etc., are equipment and you need them to run many tools you have.

The bollard style border wall has the square tubing filled with concrete to about the first 10 or so feet in order to make cutting it hard. Grinding through 1/4" tubing isn't going to occur in a moment. You'll be at it awhile whether you are using carbide or SiO grinding wheels. In fact, the thicker the wheel, the more time it'll take to cut through it. Cutting the concrete is best done with a dry cut diamond blade-- at least until you hit the rebar they put in the middle of each column, the designers weren't stupid. Then back to the metal cutoff wheel.

Now, you can use a sawzall with a multi-material blade. This way still takes time, but it's faster than grinding.

Well, we can inventory our shops, and compare, but that's not necessary in this discussion.

Metal cutting discs are as thin as a potato chip. They cut steel like butter. I cut 1/4" thick cast iron pipes in no time at all. Same for steel. Switching to a masonry disc, or diamond wheel isn't such a big deal when you have all the time in the world to accomplish your task

I used to think sawzall was faster than grinding. Until I started using a grinder with metal disc

That is not a tool. It is a piece of heavy industrial equipment. Try researching before posting.
