Trump Rants About Countries Laughing at America in All-Caps Late-Night Meltdown

You can explain this shit a zillion and one times and it goes right over the heads of his base. He's bragging that billions will be flowing into our Treasury department soon and it will....CAUSE US CITIZENS WILL PUT IT THERE BY PAYING HIGHER PRICES. The one industry that is gonna literally paralyze this nation, is the Auto Parts industry....just wait and see. I get the idea of making it so expensive that Manufacturers will chose to build things here in the US, I get that....BUT LABOR IS NEVER GONNA SETTLE FOR A BUCK FIFTY A DAY LIKE THESE OFFSHORE NATIONS....SO wages alone will cause prices to inflate....BUT YOU CAN'T TELL THAT TO A CLOWN AND HIS MAGA CIRCUS LUNATICS.
you're brainwashed by globalist retards.

That's not happening, though...
Just your warped opinion....
It's NOT????????????????
You really need to start keeping up with what is going on in this country.
Farmers going bankrupt and some out of business for good, US auto makers losing billions because of higher costs of the parts they need to build cars, laying off thousands of auto workers, Trucker and trucking companies going under, and again prices of just about EVERYTHING we buy going up and hurting the low income workers, who now don't have some of the federal programs we HAD to fall back on.
WAKE UP !!!!!!!!!!

farmers are subsidized as they should be.

Trump marked the highly anticipated start of his massive tariffs with a classic all-caps social media rant against the rest of the world.

After several delays, products from nearly 70 countries were hit with tariffs of 10 to 41 percent starting Thursday, risking price increases for everyday goods ranging from food and clothing to toys and electronics, ABC News reported.

“RECIPROCAL TARIFFS TAKE EFFECT AT MIDNIGHT TONIGHT! BILLIONS OF DOLLARS, LARGELY FROM COUNTRIES THAT HAVE TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF THE UNITED STATES FOR MANY YEARS, LAUGHING ALL THE WAY, WILL START FLOWING INTO THE USA,” Trump wrote on a Truth Social post.

This is not at all how tariffs work. The duties are an import tax paid by American companies—not foreign countries—with the costs typically passed on to consumers. The tariffs will cost the average American household an additional $2,400 this year, the Yale Budget Lab found this week.

DonOld is a moron who listens to another moron, Navarro. Navarro is the one who has convinced DonOld that these tariffs are good.

As of July 8th, 2025:

  • USMCA: The United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement continues to be in force, exempting qualifying goods from certain tariffs imposed by the US on Mexico and Canada.
  • United Kingdom: A trade deal was signed on June 17, establishing a 10% tariff on most UK exports to the US.
  • China: A preliminary deal was reached in June, setting US tariffs on Chinese imports at 55% and Chinese tariffs on American imports at 10%.
  • European Union: A deal was announced, where the EU agreed to purchase $750 billion in US energy and make new investments of $600 billion in the US by 2028, accepting a 15% tariff rate.
  • Japan: A deal was announced on July 22, including Japan's agreement to invest $550 billion in the US and expanded access for US exports, with a baseline 15% tariff rate.
  • Indonesia: A trade deal was announced on July 15, setting a 19% tariff on Indonesian exports to the US in exchange for no tariffs on US imports and commitments to purchase US energy, agricultural products, and Boeing aircraft.
  • Vietnam: A deal was announced on July 2, establishing a 20% tariff on Vietnamese exports to the US, while goods deemed to be transshipped would face a 40% tariff. Vietnam also agreed to have no tariffs on US imports.
  • Philippines: A deal was announced on July 22, but details about its finalization status were not available by July 8.
  • South Korea: A deal was announced on July 30, but details about the specific terms were not available as of July 8.
  • Others: Several other countries, including Thailand and Cambodia, reached trade agreements with the US during July, though specific details of their final status by July 8 are not consistently detailed across sources.

SO FaR...
I have already shown you how 'Trump announcing a deal' is something he does to fool his most stupid supporters like you.

How is the FoxConn deal he announced in 2016 doing for America? It was celebrated as a deal by his most stupid supporters, like you, so tell me now, is it a good deal for America? did Trump do good there or did he just promote and lie, telling you what you want to hear.

Of the 'deals' you announce above the sole one that is CLOSE to actually being a complete deal is the UK one. But even that is not done yet. And the aspects that are done are viewed as BAD for America. Trump is in such a hurry to announce 'Deals' knowing stupid people will not read the details and just assume a 'Deal' always benefits America when Trump only cares about the announcement so he is giving away the farm to get it.

The singular biggest aspect of the UK trade deal is the Auto agreement and here is how it is viewed.

Detroit Three automakers blast Trump UK trade deal

If you feel that way about wholesalers and retailers
then you better stock up now... You're just not happy or optimistic about anything...;)
Magats operate off feelings and the rest of us operate off facts.

FACT is, as demonstrated in the Pandemic, that companies use any such price disruption to not only cover the higher costs but to add a few points more to profit by increasing margins. There used to be anti-gauging laws to stop the companies as the practice has always been done. We had company after company saying on earnings calls to their investors and stock holders how their increased profits were due to these prices increases.

And people are stocking up as being happy or optimistic does pay the bills as prices rise.

They don’t talk about those things on Fox unless Jessica Tarlov addresses them. And Newsmax is just worthless.

And it is much worse than that.

Because Trump is doing everything by Executive Order and not thru Congress, the next Potus can undue it with Executive Order.

And Trump could do it thru this Congress as he has tight control of both branches.

So that means that no companies will commit to spending mass amounts of money to create factories to onshore this stuff at much higher labor rates when the next Potus will likely reverse it. So the ones who play the game with Trump will tell him they will build while knowing the process would take years and they will just wait Trump out and then not deliver after, as FoxConn never delivered in his 2016 term.

And Trump could make it more likely that companies would actually do it by doing it thru Congress as then Companies would feel more secure it would not be undone as we live in such split times the Dems, even in a win might not have the control of Congress tight enough to undue it.

But Trump does not care about actual implementation, and only cares about 'Announcements'.

The industry needs change...
Auto parts and repair has not been affordable for a very long time...
And while important, compare a mechanic's pay to teacher pay...just saying...
Above shows how painfully stupid TOP is.

No one, not Trump and not the Auto Parts industry are saying 'parts and repair will become affordable' with this onshoring and they are saying quite the opposite. This is about bringing those jobs that pay less in other countries back to America where they pay much more.

Magats like TOP are so stupid they think making parts in America instead of Mexico will make things cheaper when that is not the argument for why Trump wants the jobs in America.

HELLO .
Where are you living ? Under a rock?
A LOT of things that are " Made in America " have parts that are imported and have tariffs on them and that DOES drive up the cost of American made goods.
Manufactures are just going to pass the increase in the cost of the parts they need to buy on to the US consumer.
we can make parts too.

duh.

you're just fucking dumb and cant think for yourself.

some things will go up temporarily.

the point is maintaining jobs and production capacities are worth it.

you're just brainwashed by globalists, and very stupid as well.

Japan has agreed to buy more American cars....Japan who makes the best cars in the world, is agreeing to buy our shit, just to keep the peace and use them cars as scrap metal.....but Trump thinks he hit the lottery with this deal....the fool, the fool.
