During an interview with Fox News anchor Chris Wallace that aired Sunday, President Trump refused to commit to accepting the results of the 2020 election, slammed mail-in voting and called polls showing him trailing former Vice President Joe Biden “fake”

Presented with a Fox News poll showing him trailing Biden by 8 points, Trump told Wallace, “first of all, I'm not losing, because those are fake polls."

Wallace asked Trump “can you give a direct answer that you will accept the election?”

“I have to see,” Trump said of accepting the result in November. “I have to see. No, I’m not going to just say yes. I’m not going to say no, and I didn’t last time either.”

The comments echo Trump saying at a 2016 presidential debate “I will tell you at the time. I will keep you in suspense,” about whether he would accept the results of that election, which he followed up with the statement, “I will totally accept the results of this great and historic presidential election if I win.

Trump has repeatedly dismissed polls showing him down by wide margins as “fake” and “suppression polls,” instead citing anecdotal metrics like boaters and motorcyclists with Trump flags as evidence of enthusiasm.

I can just see it now, that psychotic Trump is going to have to be dragged out of the white house, in a straitjacket.

He's smart to not commit (either way) to such a thing. He didn't in 2016 either. Notice how Hilary Clinton STILL hasn't accepted the 2016 results...?? I'd be more concerned about her than Trump if I were you.

“He’s smart not to commit,” and what does the President of the US saying he might not accept the results of an election ahead of time without any proof say about the integrity of that election? or elections in general?

Just like not paying taxes as the rest of us do makes him “smart”

Yes, Hillary did accept the results of the election and conceded as any other candidate has in the past. Yet, there is absolutely no reason why trump would not accept the results unless he has already decided that he will remain in office regardless of the outcome.

You and your kind, handjob, would not say a word against him if he chose to stay. So much for being a loyal American.

If he says "yes" and then mass fraud occurs, they will then hold him to that "yes" response. If he doesn't say "yes", then they will respond in the manner that you saw in 2016 and are seeing again right now.

IMHO, this is a complete non-story.

There has never in our history been mass election fraud of any kind, you my dear are just justifying his total disregard for the constitution. You don't want a president, you want a dictator.

They are no longer Americans. I mean that. They are members of a cult, and the cult is anti American. They either need to accept reprogramming, or be shunned by civil society. They are dangerous.

Absurd, so like Trump, you are implying that if he loses, the election is fraudulent, but if he wins, it’s legit, and to make sure, he is adding a disclaimer ahead of time

And it isn’t a “nonstory,” can you cite in over two hundred plus years of elections any Presidential candidate or incumbent going into the election saying that they will have to wait to see if they will accept the results?

A transition of power is vital to any democracy surviving, to plant innuendo ahead of time regarding the election is banana republic rhetoric

Elections are only valid if he wins.

Yeah, right.

And he is going to release his taxes without being ordered to by none less than the Supreme Court.

OK, we know what to do with him.

VOTE HIM OUT!

And make it such a decisive loss that there is no way it can be questioned.

And have the agents ready to arrest him for fraud the moment the inauguration is over.

I don't know what the election will be. It hasn't occurred yet.

Yet you support Trump’s early disclaimer, the leader of the country saying he doesn’t have enough faith in our election system to say he will accept the results, beautiful

I wouldn't say that I would accept the election results months before the election even occurred. It hasn't occurred yet. Who knows what might happen between now and then.

This is a complete non-story.
