Trump Refuses To Commit To Accepting Election Results

I wouldn't say that I would accept the election results months before the election even occurred. It hasn't occurred yet. Who knows what might happen between now and then.

This is a complete non-story.
No, it isn’t, this sets a pattern for Trump, just like last time, if the election doesn’t go his way, he’ll discredit the results. Last time he discredited the popular vote by saying illegals voted and it’s why Hillary had the popular vote. He’s already seeding doubt in the process.

The only "discrediting of the results" which occurred in 2016 was Democrats whining about the Electoral College.

Illegals DID vote, as did dead people. It's the Democrat way... Although, the "popular vote" (as it generally gets referred to as) is discredited by the US Constitution, since that is not how we choose Presidents in this country.

He’s already seeding doubt in the process.
No, that's what Democrats have been doing, and still do.

More of your never ending bullshit excuses. You know you want trump in the White House regardless of whether he wins or not. That makes you an anti American piece of shit. In fact this is just what this board is all about. Right wing fanatics, all!

As I noted, in two hundred plus years of Presidential elections zero candidates or incumbents ever said they had to wait till after the election to say they would accept the results, and now Trump coming right out and saying he wouldn’t isn’t a story?

Take a deep breath and relax.

There's nothing new about this. This is a non-story.

You have said that three times now, but you have yet to show us why it is a “non-story,” seems it being the first time in the history of the US that a candidate laid out disclaimers ahead of the election alone would make it newsworthy

This is simply more of the same trump bullshit that he put out the last time. It is the same moronic crappola that his "brain dead" cult followers lap up.
Whether he personally accepts the election results is irrelevant. We all know that he is psychotic and could say or do anything to keep his fragile ego from having to accept that he is by far one of the worst and most despised presidents in recent times.

It's not the first time in history.

Al Gore got cheated out of the election and accepted the results to keep the peace. He thought it was better for the nation overall. Trump does not care about that. He thinks of himself. You cannot expect him to do what is right for the nation.

you're a joke. dems have been triggered four years straight. you havent accepted shit. so stfu.

You have such a long and continuing list of wrong and ignorant posts. You must be proud. I worry about you.

Former SCOTUS Justice Sandra Day O'Conner said that voting to stop the Florida election recount was the WORST decision that she ever made on the Court.

tRump said he would accept the results if he wins... lol

Al Gore conducts himself with some measure of class. tRump conducts himself like ignorant "white trash".

During an interview with Fox News anchor Chris Wallace that aired Sunday, President Trump refused to commit to accepting the results of the 2020 election, slammed mail-in voting and called polls showing him trailing former Vice President Joe Biden “fake”

Presented with a Fox News poll showing him trailing Biden by 8 points, Trump told Wallace, “first of all, I'm not losing, because those are fake polls."

Wallace asked Trump “can you give a direct answer that you will accept the election?”

“I have to see,” Trump said of accepting the result in November. “I have to see. No, I’m not going to just say yes. I’m not going to say no, and I didn’t last time either.”

The comments echo Trump saying at a 2016 presidential debate “I will tell you at the time. I will keep you in suspense,” about whether he would accept the results of that election, which he followed up with the statement, “I will totally accept the results of this great and historic presidential election if I win.

Trump has repeatedly dismissed polls showing him down by wide margins as “fake” and “suppression polls,” instead citing anecdotal metrics like boaters and motorcyclists with Trump flags as evidence of enthusiasm.

Got projection? Why should he? Are the morons in the Party of the Jackass ever committed to them? The last two elections they lost indicates they wont and when they lose, whine and cry like little babies and try to destroy the country in the process.

If you had a brain larger than a viral strain, you would understand the OBVIOUS.

He's smart to not commit (either way) to such a thing. He didn't in 2016 either. Notice how Hilary Clinton STILL hasn't accepted the 2016 results...?? I'd be more concerned about her than Trump if I were you.

When have Democrats is what I would like to know. ;)

“He’s smart not to commit,” and what does the President of the US saying he might not accept the results of an election ahead of time without any proof say about the integrity of that election? or elections in general?

Just like not paying taxes as the rest of us do makes him “smart”

There you go again, lying and crying. I don't think you can post without lying or crying.
