Honda already has an engine plant here for some engines. Others come from Japan (not Canada) and are not subject to tariffs on Canadian goods. The rest of the car is made in the U.S.
Subaru imports it's engines from Japan. The rest of the car is made in the United States.
Toyota does the same thing.
Ford manufactures everything (except some electronic components, which are imported from Japan) in the United States.

Prices will only go up on IMPORTS coming from outside of the US. In other words, if the German Government doesn't subsidize Mercedes, BMW or Volkswagen, then they will have to either eat the tariffs to remain competitive or increase their prices thus risking a competitive edge with US manufacturers.
The best part is no one is going to force you brainless leftist morons to buy these higher priced imports. More likely, you can't afford a luxury car in the first place.
Many manufacturers are already planning to build plants her and invest in US workers, some already have plants here so they will be unaffected, many have and will be doing so which is good for the US worker and economy.
But hey, if you don't like the US, you don't have to stay here. Move to some EuroSocialist utopia or some South American socialist utopia. Fewer brainless leftist morons would be a good thing.
