Says an opinion piece? It's true that some research indicates that today's young conservatives tend to be more liberal than their generational forebears. Since they haven't reached old age (like you have) yet, drawing any long-term conclusions on what may be an outlier seems premature.
BTW, race and ethnicity aren't markedly noted as predictors of future political behavior, as far as I could see.
Scientists measuring trends with statistical data over years of research show otherwise. That could change in the future, I suppose, but wishful thinking doesn't make it so, old man.
BTW, "Republican" and conservative are not synonymous.
