Los Angeles recently shut down a battery business here; due to the toxicity of the soils and snowflake complaints from leftists living near the plant. Where will you snowflakes build and dispose of all your batteries?

It is the argument of the ignorant to suggest that there is anything "clean" about battery manufacturing necessary to support zero fuel vehicles and solar/windmill technology. But hey, it makes ignoramuses feel warm and fuzzy inside.

There will be a huge problem in future disposing of all those turbine blades, batteries and solar panels.

A recent EIA report* on energy production shows that wind and solar despite receiving tens of billions in government subsidies provided only 3.2% of U.S. energy in year 2016.

The next step? We have a glut of nat. gas, which brought prices down. Saudi Arabia gave us a gentle reminder who the 'dominant' one is last year, when they sent U.S oil producer stocks crashing.

Stop trying to make this something it isn't. People laughed at 'cash for clunkers'. We removed more than six hundred thousand gas guzzlers from the roads. trump just did away with Obama's demand for higher MPG for all cars by 2025.

What exactly is trump doing to make the U.S. 'dominant' here?


trump has no power to direct any gas/oil anywhere. He's just going to have to find another lie to spread.

If the govt. buys nat gas for the sole purpose of reselling it to specific nations, it will drive the price up past every other provider. Ain't happening.

What is trump's idea? Exploration on private land is at an all time high, due to private enterprise coupled with Obama's tax incentives. Many oil companies had permits for Fed. land, but just sat on them due to environmental parameters they simply didn't want to comply with.

So now we see the midwest suffering earthquakes, polluted water supplies, and overall economic issues that come with boom/bust cycles.


So what is trump doing to expand exploration?


Taking credit for it.....and nothing else.

Turbine blades are not really recyclable and neither are solar panels.

“Every kilowatt of wind power requires 10-kg WT blade materials, so predicted there will be nearly 50,000 tons of blade waste in 2020 rising to 200,000 tons in 2034. Currently, most waste is sent to landfill, which is not an environmentally desirable solution."

Overall, Trump's cabinet is excellent.

But I expect there's some tension between Tillerson and Mattis. Which is actually a good thing because the last thing you want is an echo chamber.

I am extremely wary of military interventionism..Mathis is a Mad Dog.
But Tillerson has more damn sense then the entire government of DC -so hopefully we don't go thru this again
