Trump to "Void" All Documents signed by Biden's Auto-Pen...

Fauci was one of those responsible for funding the place that did. If I pay you to do something, I am responsible for what you've done. Especially if I lie to Congress about it trying to cover up my own responsibility. The lies themselves show he understood he held responsibility, and the pardon certainly showed that others knew it too.
Ok. So Fauci paid them to release the virus.

Yes sure.

Yes... He lied to Congress specifically about the funding of the Gain of Function research. Then, according to Biden, anyone needing such a pardon is guilty and it is a "travesty" and would cause distrust in our legal system...

Biden's 'prompter writers were right. It did.
It is your position that Dr. Fauci deliberately had the virus released, resulting in deaths.

Am I correct?

I can also claim that Trump downplaying the virus makes him responsible.

It is not. It is my position that he funded the gain of function research at the facility that eventually accidentally released the virus that resulted in the deaths, then to cover that funding during a "pause" and at a facility that shouldn't be doing that type of research he lied to congress, which is a crime.

Downplaying the virus is absurd he gave Fauci every single thing he asked for from the "pause" to masks.

Accidental releases of viruses and other pathogens from laboratories have occurred globally on numerous occasions, including incidents involving poliovirus, SARS-CoV, anthrax, foot-and-mouth disease, and smallpox. These events are a significant biosafety concern.
Documented Accidental Releases
Historical records and scientific reviews highlight multiple instances of laboratory-acquired infections (LAIs) and accidental pathogen escapes from laboratory settings (APELS):
Poliovirus: There have been multiple accidental releases of poliovirus from vaccine production facilities, including an event in Belgium in 2014 where billions of virus particles were released into the sewage system (without human infection). A worker at a facility in the Netherlands was infected in 2022 following another leak.
SARS-CoV: The SARS virus escaped from laboratories at least four times in total across Singapore, Taiwan, and Beijing in 2003 and 2004, resulting in 12 infections and one death in the community.
Smallpox: The last person to die from smallpox contracted the disease in a 1978 lab accident at the University of Birmingham Medical School in the UK, when the virus escaped a research lab to a photography studio on the floor above. Decades-old, forgotten vials of live smallpox were also found in a US federal lab in 2014.
Anthrax: In 2014, the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) accidentally exposed 75 personnel to live anthrax. A more severe incident occurred in the Soviet Union in 1979, where an anthrax leak from a military facility resulted in approximately 100 deaths.
Brucellosis: The largest recorded laboratory accident by case count occurred in Lanzhou, China, where a leak from a biopharmaceutical plant in 2019 led to over 10,000 people being infected with the bacteria Brucella.
Causes and Context
Most accidental releases are due to procedural errors and human error, rather than engineering failures. A review of incidents between 2000 and 2021 found that procedural issues caused most escapes.
The COVID-19 Origin Debate
The origin of the COVID-19 pandemic remains a subject of intense scientific and political debate. The two primary hypotheses are:
Natural Zoonotic Origin: The virus jumped from an animal host to humans, likely at a market in Wuhan. This is the most widely accepted scientific explanation, supported by epidemiological and genetic evidence.
Lab Leak Origin: The virus accidentally escaped from a research facility, such as the Wuhan Institute of Virology.
While some U.S. intelligence agencies and other nations' spy services have assessed, with varying levels of confidence, that a lab leak is a likely or possible scenario, there is no definitive public evidence supporting it. Most scientists point to the lack of evidence for lab involvement and the strong evidence for natural emergence. China has repeatedly denied the lab leak theory and has restricted independent international investigations into the origins.

None of this matters now, Fauci was pardoned, because he needed it... I use Biden's own words: that in itself would be an admission of guilt... It would be a travesty." Biden painted it as the ultimate abuse, shielding allies from probes they might not survive, eroding trust in the system.

I agree with Biden's script writers. It eroded trust in the system.

That Americans no longer increasingly trust the system is a huge fucking problem. It took many decades of bad performance from the elites to get here, but we are here.

God Help Us.

Trump's pardoning, some of which he didn't even know who he was pardoning, eroded the trust.

The pardoning of Dr. Fauci was to prevent the unnecessary waste of taxpayers' money and time.

We can agree that Dr. Fauci was not responsible for the virus. If not, we can agree that Trump was responsible for the deaths by belittling the virus.

We cannot agree that. I believe he was responsible for it, he knew it, and therefore he lied about it. The lie itself is evidence he knew he was responsible for it.

And pretending him "belittling" the virus while literally giving Fauci everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, he asked for is just sad and small...

That would make him an international criminal, perhaps a war criminal.
Only if it was an international crime to fund the research. He'd be a "war" criminal if he ordered them to release the virus. What we do know is he needed a Pardon, because even Braindead pResidents knew he was guilty of lying to congress at the very least.

Accusations that Dr. Anthony Fauci "lied" generally refer to his shifting public health guidance during the COVID-19 pandemic as new information emerged, and claims by political figures, particularly Republicans in Congress, that he was dishonest during sworn testimony. Dr. Fauci and his supporters have consistently denied these allegations, arguing his statements evolved with the science and that he has never lied to Congress.
Key Areas of Disputed Claims
The main accusations of "lying" center on the following issues:
Gain-of-Function Research in Wuhan: Several Republican lawmakers, including Senator Rand Paul and Representative Jim Jordan, have repeatedly accused Dr. Fauci of lying to Congress about whether the National Institutes of Health (NIH) funded risky "gain-of-function" research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) in China. Dr. Fauci has maintained that the research funded did not meet the regulatory definition of "gain-of-function" and that the viruses studied were phylogenetically too far removed to be the progenitor of SARS-CoV-2. The issue often comes down to differing interpretations of the term "gain-of-function".
The Origin of COVID-19: Critics allege Dr. Fauci downplayed the lab leak theory and orchestrated a campaign to suppress it in favor of the natural origin theory. Emails show Dr. Fauci was initially informed by scientists that the virus had "unusual features" that could indicate engineering, but these scientists later concluded a lab origin was unlikely. Dr. Fauci testified that he kept an open mind about both natural and lab origins and encouraged a proper scientific examination.
Mask Guidance: Early in the pandemic, Dr. Fauci and other health officials advised against the general public wearing masks, partly to preserve limited supplies for healthcare workers. As evidence of asymptomatic spread emerged and supplies increased, the guidance changed to recommend universal masking. This reversal led to public confusion and accusations of flip-flopping or a "noble lie" for a perceived greater good.
Social Distancing Rule: During a congressional hearing, Dr. Fauci clarified that the 6-foot social distancing guideline was not an NIH directive but a Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommendation that "sort of just appeared" and was not based on clinical trials, but rather older studies on droplet spread. Critics pointed to this admission as evidence that major policy decisions were arbitrary and unscientific.
Personal Emails and Records: A former senior advisor to Dr. Fauci, Dr. David Morens, was found to have used personal email for official business to evade public records laws. While Dr. Fauci has denied any personal use of private email for official business or knowledge of Morens' specific misconduct at the time, Republicans have questioned his oversight and potential involvement in covering up information.
official Findings and Denials
A 2024 report by Democratic staff on the House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic stated that evidence collected by the subcommittee did not support Republican claims regarding Dr. Fauci, the origins of COVID-19, gain-of-function research, and an alleged cover-up. Dr. Fauci has consistently denied lying and maintained that his recommendations were based on the evolving scientific understanding and public health needs.
