Local footage shows police and firefighters rushing to the scene by the 64-story luxury building, renowned for its "stunning views" of the Strip.
Videos from the scene reveal the huge noise has come from a Tesla Cybertruck, which has exploded and caught on fire. Videos on social media reveal what seems to be smoke rising near the establishment.
A guest at the hotel Stephen Felando, claimed a "massive explosion" happened.
He said in a video on X: "Something major just exploded here. Something just went off in the valet section...I don't know what just did, but something just blew."
A witness captured the moment: "I just heard a boom. There's a lot of smoke. It was like a boom, boom, boom. It almost sounded like a rolling garbage dumpster, then I saw that pop up."
