Trump: U.S. military won’t allow transgender people ‘to serve in any capacity’

its discriminating agaisnt a person for how they were born

the military isn't a fell good romp. you have to meet certain standards and qualifications. if you are born to short, guess what, you can't be in the military. that's not unconstitutional. If you are born blind, you can't be in the military. not unconstitutional. the military can absolutely let people in based on how they were born.

It was nothing but an "on paper" ideological win for Obama and the left. Face it, how many (of the what, .03% of the population) would make it through boot camp or even a psychological examination? I don't know about examination requirements in the military in general but because I joined for submarine service I had more than one psych eval; how do you think they would do if they don't even understand what gender they are?

Gawd trump's such an ugly, revolting p.o.s. that it makes me gag to hear his voice. There's no low he won't stoop to.

I've never heard your voice nor seen you, bitch. However, if you want to see ugly, revolting piece of shit, look in the mirror. You must put out well. There's no other reason your husband would be with you.

just to put this in perspective. If you have diabetes or some other thing which requires constant medication the military will reject you. They even reject colorblind people for most spots. IIRC you need sme sort of hormone thing as a tranny.

I don't know if that's true. They may get it during the transition process but how is that different from birth control pills?

the very definition of "transition" pretty much involves that christie

The Pentagon is now paying for gender reassignment treatment and, in some cases, surgery for United States service members. The policy, which took effect on 1 October 2016, could cost between $2.4 million and $8.4 million a year.

Pentagon spokesperson Ben Sakrisson said the treatments will be reserved for cases that have been deemed medically necessary:
The Secretary of Defense has made clear that service members with a diagnosis from a military medical provider indicating that gender transition is medically necessary will be provided medical care and treatment for the diagnosed medical condition.
