I'd say the Democrat(ic) party today is far more one of socialist oligarchs than outright communists. What you have is a party heavily populated at its top by rich intelligentsia and social climbers. They imagine, and style, themselves as the best of everything society has to offer. It doesn't matter, at least to them, if the truth deviates from that completely. This group then allies with an oligopoly of large businesses to seek political and economic control of society.Today’s far left Democrat/Socialist Party.
Too funny.
- "Workers of the world, unite! You have nothing to lose but your chains!" This slogan, popularized by Karl Marx and Frederick Engels in the Communist Manifesto, calls for international working-class unity against capitalist exploitation.
- "From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs." Popularized by Karl Marx, this phrase expresses a core principle of communism and socialism regarding resource distribution based on need rather than wealth or market forces.
- "The history of all hitherto existing society is the history of class struggles." This opening line of the Communist Manifestoposits that societal development is driven by the tension between opposing classes.
- V.I. Lenin is quoted as saying that to belittle or turn away from socialist ideology means to strengthen bourgeois ideology. Lenin also emphasized that struggle educates the exploited class, revealing its power, widening its perspective, enhancing its abilities, clarifying its mind, and forging its will.
- "Dissent is the highest form of patriotism." – Howard Zinn This statement, often associated with socialist thought, highlights the importance of challenging authority when it is seen as compromising societal ideals.
- The Industrial Workers of the World (IWW) challenged the idea of patriotism in war, suggesting it often serves the interests of the ruling class.
When this cabal gains power, they seek to increase government control over everything. They also seek to limit innovation and change within society to help ensure they retain power. Freedoms are reduced and factional warfare introduced to keep the masses under their thumb and divided.
With the Democrats, this is manifested in things like gun grabbing, edicts about what kind of car you can have, where you can live, or speech control of public debate. They play class warfare but increasingly are returning to race wars instead. Things like CRT or Disparate Impact Theory are all about racial division and increasing racism. They keep society at odds with one and other and distract the masses from doing anything about the oligarchs.
The Democrats know that outright socialism and an accompanying dictatorship are pretty much out of the question. So, they've gone for the next best thing in their view: Statist capitalism with rigged elections. For them, the primary elections are just a pro forma event. They go through the motions and then ignore the result if it isn't to their liking. The same goes for business. They're in collusion with billionaires and large corporations. These get the benefits of regulations that generate a monopoly-in-kind while they funnel payola to the political oligarchy to retain power.
