Trump will make every attempt to steal the election

Almost all of the abuse related to Trump has been directed At Trump, it has not come from Trump.

Also, Trump barely controls the WH, he has no control over elections.

Lmao........Poor pitiful tRump who never says as anything negative about anyone. Why are people so mean to him?????......lol

As Election Day 2020 approaches, it would appear that presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden and his party have much to celebrate.
Biden leads Donald Trump by an average of eight percentage points in national polling, with some surveys showing Biden ahead of Trump by as many as 14 percentage points.

Biden also enjoys huge leads among the Democratic Party’s key constituents, including black voters, Latinos and other nonwhites, college-educated white women and younger voters. Polls also show Joe Biden making gains among older white voters, a group that consistently supports Republicans and has been especially loyal to Trump. Biden also leads Trump in key battleground states such as Michigan and Wisconsin.

On closer inspection, however, matters are more complicated.
Election Day is still more than four months away, almost an eternity in electoral politics. Previous Democratic nominees such as Hillary Clinton and Michael Dukakis are object lessons in the cruel and mercurial ways of the political fates: Both appeared to hold big leads over their Republican opponents at this approximate point in the cycle, only to lose on Election Day.

There is also a not-insubstantial gap between what prospective voters tell pollsters and how they will actually decide to vote — if they vote at all.

Greg Palast is an investigative journalist whose work has been featured by the BBC, the Guardian, the Nation, Rolling Stone and here on Salon. He has become one of the nation’s foremost experts on vote suppression, vote theft and vote fraud. He is the author of the bestselling books “Billionaires & Ballot Bandits” and “The Best Democracy Money Can Buy.” His new book is “How Trump Stole 2020: The Hunt for America’s Vanished Voters.”

In our most recent conversation, Palast warns that Joe Biden’s chances against Donald Trump are worse than the polls suggest because millions of Democrats will have their votes thrown out on Election Day. Moreover, many of those voters will have no idea that their votes were purged and therefore not counted.

Palast explains how the Republican Party has refined its strategy of voter suppression, voter intimidation and vote theft in elections across the country. Palast also highlights how the planned chaos during the recent Georgia Democratic primaries is a preview of how the Republican Party intends to steal the 2020 presidential election for Donald Trump.

Finally, Palast issues an ominous warning: Trump and the Republicans, he believes, are plotting to use the 12th Amendment to the Constitution to declare the popular vote and Electoral College results invalid, so that the 2020 presidential election will be decided in the House of Representatives — which, believe it or not, may well vote in Trump’s favor.

Palast sounds like an idiot. There is nothing in the 12th Amendment allowing anyone to declare the popular and electoral vote invalid. Being able to certify the results has always been there and the president does not make the decision whether it goes to the House. That only happens if no candidate wins a majority in the electoral college.

He sounds like someone trying to scare the public in order to garner some attention.

Palast is hardly an idiot. He’s a very good investigative journalist.

So, what you're saying is this time around Trump and the Democrats will be on even ground...

I have been on Palalst's email list for a long time. He wrote an expose on Florida's election theft by Bush. He was the first I saw to get deep into the story of repression and deleting voters from the rolls. He has shown himself to be a serious investigator and reporter. I read his first few books. He has predicted the voter suppression and showed how it worked.

There is absolutely no proof whatsoever of fraudulent voting, other than a few instances. But you can continue to pretend if it makes you feel better.

maybe we can speak of all the ways republicans work hard to limit who can go to a polling place, and of course there is always the 9th congressional district of NC. How many other instances like this have republicans gotten away with.

there is no proof that demmycunts have committed fraud in absentee ballots except for those cases where there is proof that demmycunts have committed fraud in absentee ballots........but of course we don't want to talk about demmycunts committing fraud in absentee ballots because we want people to think there is no reason to expect demmycunts to commit fraud if we increase the number of absentee ballots.......

if Republicans do it too, you should be twice as anxious to prevent it......there are way more Republican voter precincts than there are demmycunt voting precincts.........

if he claims that he's just another lying demmycunt.......

Maybe, I am not really familiar with him. He failed to explain his 12th amendment concerns.

As far as I know, the original constitutional provision provided the House choose the president if nobody received a majority of electoral votes. The 12th amendment does not change that. The changes it did make in the process are not really relevant to today's method.

Polls are meaningless.

It is DEMOCRATS who are trying to steal the election in every way possible...

Ok, How? You cannot make shit up like that. The Repubs have an industry out of cheating. And you blame the Dems. The party that helps people exercise their right to vote. Righty are so crazy.

Maybe you can provide some examples of Democratic fraud with absentee ballots? Or just maybe you are full of shit, honey bunch.

Repubs hate mail-in because the methods of controlling the vote do not work. The closing of polls in Dem neighborhoods is one. Making poor people wat 6 or 8 hours will make many skip it.
Taking likely minority and black names off the polls is another.
They send a letter to a minority voter. If they do not return the letter, they decide he moved of does not want to vote. His name gets scrubbed. That is caging.
They have sent letters telling Dem voters that their poll has been closed and they send them across town to another. They have sent letter telling Dems they can vote the next day and it will be counted, so they can skip the lines.
In Michigan, right now, the Repubs are taking people's names off the rolls if they did not vote in 3 years. Presidential votes are every 4 years. Many do not vote in the in-between elections. They will arrive and find they have been scrubbed.

dude, they are simply sending out notices to people who haven't voted to purge the dead and those who have moved......if you aren't dead you just contact the county clerk and tell them that.......in your case, ask someone to do it for you, since you aren't smart enough to figure out what a phone number is.........

Then maybe those that can't be bothered to vote in the last 3 years should get off their dead asses and go register again. Bet they'd go to the DMV if they had to renew their driver's license every three years...

Sending those folks a notice that they're being dropped is a curtesy and reminder that they haven't been doing their civic duty. I'd say that's more than fair.

The insane position is arguing Once you register to vote, you are always going to be registered to vote. Doesn't matter if you move. Doesn't matter if you leave the state. You can vote early and often if you like. That's how Democrats think.
