All a question of purpose and degree. The Dems were trying to get highly qualified jurists who seemed to lean left and protect Roe. Trump's first question is are you loyal. He is not looking for the best judge, but one who will follow his orders. That is because he is a crook and needs protection. Trump knows what he has done. That is why he is trying to control the courts, justice dept. and the FBI. He cannot afford honest and fair treatment.
