“Trump wrong on Reagan, tariffs”

An opinion piece from the editorial board of the leading conservative economic vehicle who if anyone knows Regan’s views on economic affairs

It is a big deal, very big deal
The stock market it as an all time high the trade deficit is shrinking money is coming into the treasury. And The Reagan foundation is considering legal action against Canadian for misrepresentation of Reagan's speech. The WSJ said Tariffs would hurt the economy. They have not hurt the economy they have helped it and are encouraging foreign investment into the US. As I said before An Opinion piece. Big Deal.

It depends on what you mean by “big deal.” The WSJ editorial board has opposed Trump’s tariffs for years. He hasn't been making policy based on their opinions, and he’s clearly not about to start now.

What you are doing here is underlining that you do not care about foreign interference if it aligns with your priorities and/or attacks the right person. That foreign interference only interests you when it interferes with your own priorities.
The problem you have is that you are stupid.

In the history of America this has not been what is defined as 'Foreign interference in an Election' but because magats are desperate to equate them so they can support Dear Leaders delusions, here you are.

Canada has every right to make their public case against the tariffs that hurt them just as Americans have ALWAYS made their case for their industries and why 'China or any other country needs to open up their markets to XYZ US products'.

America has always, very publicly made the case that Japan should open up its market to US cars more, China should open up their market to XYZ.... and so on.

WHat Canada did IS NO DIFFERENT, and them using Reagan to highlight it does not suddenly make it wrong.

BUt you are a magat, so that means you will lie and distort, and do so foremost to your self. You are pathetic.

this is a 100 history of the DOW, which shows the terminally stupid that the Stock Market ONLY GOES UP over time, meaning it is always at new all time highs. The only thing you are saying is that Trump has not triggered a correction YET, which is nothing to brag about.

The Reagan foundation can consider whatever they want, just as i can consider legal action against this site for allowing you to say stupid stuff here. Both lawsuits would be meaningless. Reagan gave that speech as a public address. PUBLIC. for those not stupid you know that ZERO OWNERSHIP RIGHTS can be claimed on public address speeches. Anyone is free to quote them in whole or in parts.

The Tariff impacts are, as predicted a lagging factor, especially with TACO Trump taking them on and off over and over, and showing that if companies or countries enrich him personally, he will carve out exemptions for them.

But sector by sector such as Farming, and Auto, Oil and Gas, Retail, and on and on and on, they are all telling America that the harm is starting to get priced in and will be deep.

Forget the Market, the Market has been setting records nearly continuously for the last four years when MAGA said Biden’s economy was shit, and as many economic indicators as you can rattle off can be ping ponged with negative numbers from other measurement

The Reagan Foundation won’t sue anyone, what would they sue for, the words are word for word what Reagan said, claiming you will sue is the thing to do these day with Trump in control

The tariffs are just beginning to hot the economy, companies inventories are starting to run out, a walk thru any box store looking at appliances will show you that, and wait till Christmas

And the foreign investments are promises, and just promises, in fact, Trump just announced a big deal with South Korea and South Korea doesn’t even know ant they supposedly promised

True, but the WSJ is the standard for actual conservatives, and all those kiss ass representatives/Senators who are conservatives, not necessarily MAGA, and run on a conservative platform will take note, in fact, some, not enough, but some are now talking down on Trump’s Brazilian tariffs

So :blah: :blah: :blah: :blah: :blah:

Of course it is fine. Foreign interference in elections is fine if the leftists want what they want.
You call an ad of Canada defending itself against the actions of the current president by invoking Reagan, interference? That's Stretch Armstrong levels of stretching the truth, man. Hope you didn't pull a muscle.

If I may ask, how often do you read the Journal? I read it almost every day. They’ve opposed tariffs for years under both Trump and Biden, so this isn’t new. It’s part of why Trump has called them RINOs before.

It’s possible a few Republicans might speak out, but it won’t be because of the WSJ editorial board. That moment’s long gone. You’re not reading the room here.

Who told you that?

Who elected you to tell the world who "actual conservatives" are?

BTW, "never-Trumpers" in the GOP have been around for a decade now.

How are they doing, so far?
