As far as conservatives are concerned, what's not to like about Putin? Putin despises democracy, jails liberal activists, shuts down the independent press as an enemy of the state, and presents himself as deeply and traditionally religious and socially conservative.


On JPP, our admiration of foreign leaders breaks down like this:

Conservatives--> Vladimir Putin

Liberals--> Justin Trudeau
