I wouldn't say "he's hated"; I'd add in some nuance.
Very few people are "indifferent" towards Trump. Most people either strongly support him (as I do) because his actions actually back up his rhetoric, or else they strongly HATE him because they believe the lies that their cable TV tells about him (which is an extension of the Uniparty's hatred towards him because he's not corrupt and they cannot control him via buying him off or blackmailing him like they do with other politicians).

Policies are already in place that will result (and have already resulted) in lower prices. FINALLY, since Trump is back in office again, the depressed economy is FINALLY starting to grow again. Investments are returning to the USA. Manufacturing is returning to the USA. Actually he did exactly that. He promised that Ukraine would be settled on day 1, possibly even before his official swearing in. He also claimed prices would drop on day 1.
