Trump's post-campaign campaign rallies

Just curious - how do the Trump supporters here feel about these?

I see clips on the telly, and just think they couldn't be any more ridiculous. For starters, they don't exactly do much to "unite" the country - something that Trump emphasized in his campaign, and called out Obama for his failures in that area.

Beyond that, they're real whinefests. He seems to go on & on about how unfairly he's being treated, and how good it is for him to be back in his safe place.

Frankly, I'm kind of amazed that so many people trek out to see these things. But, like everything else Trump, that side of things is a true enigma to me. Are the Trump folks here stoked by these events?

the country doesnt want to be united. Heil trump!
much truth in this.
What came first ? hyper-partisanship in DC or loathing one and another's politics?

I like the rallies, but then again I like Trump's ideas, if not his tweeting.

It does him some good to get away from the "Russian drama" smothering DC,and his base still wants him to succeed for the good of America.

For instance Obamacare is DOA..providers are fleeing, and premiums are sky-rocketing.
Trump pointed out that if the Repubs came up with "the best HC ever" plan, Dem's would oppose it
because of their reactionary resistance..'tis true.
Trump de-legitimization/derangement syndrome came even before "resistance"

I'd like to see a call for unity as well -but Trump was correct last night that DC is not interested in such

fox lies came first

FOX NEWS and right wing radio did this

then Russians like it so much they back you

Good luck finding my last post on that topic - probably a couple of weeks back. I've actually posted very little about it overall.

But, it is actually an investigation. I have to say, one thing that bothers me is that Trump has shown such minimal concern about the idea of Russia hacking our election & interfering in general. I have no idea whether there was actual collusion, and don't think there was anything overt - but shouldn't POTUS be concerned about another country engaging in that kind of meddling?

So, 6 months in, he has given up? After talking about it endlessly during the campaign & ridiculing Obama for his inability to unify?

I thought Trump was this persistent business guy who didn't quit?

POTUS doesn't go into hacking, unless it's given to him by the IC.
I would imagine he gets briefed. I would also imagine if I was Trump i'd be sick of talking about it.

things have to get done.
He hasn't given up,but how do you work with a "resistance/TDS/ and calls for Impeachment?

He was feeling good, with reason. Dems made it a referendum. Now they're hiding from it. So he gleefully reminded everybody how terribly Dems lost.

ISIS isn't defeated, he was to have a plan to defeat them, he had a secret plan, to defeat them because he was smarter than the generals, then he gave generals 30 days to do it. Was the giant bomb in Afghanistan his big plan?

Murder by police hasn't stopped, nor gang violence, although now that Trump is President we don't get the racists daily totals of how many shootings in Detroit.'

Trump needs to work a little more and play a little less.

your fucks voted against their own written and sponsored bills when Obama said that he would sign that bill

your assholes said first day their aim was to destroy his presidency by not working with him on anything

OBAMA STILL SAVED THE ECONOMY

And let's not forget - that stuff was going to be easy. So easy.

And the deals! We were going to make such deals on trade. Obama's people were so incompetent, and he was going to have all of these Wall Street dealmakers on it right away...
