There are 2 ways to cut the debt. Cut spending or increase revenue. Taxing the rich and corporations is not what Trump wants. His fellow zillionaires want more money. Their taxes are as low as they have ever been. They never, ever have enough. So slashing government services is the answer. The rich do not sweat over healthcare, police and fire services, or rent and food. They cannot relate to those problems. They automatically get the best police services. Money = power.
