I am being kind, even talking to you, as I have a vast hinterland of knowledge on this subject. And yet I have a basic understanding of this topic, and you do not.

In other words, you have no idea what you are talking about, and are simply regurgitating the issued talking points. Got it.

Oh, I won't stand by Gore. He was definitely an alarmist. I'm not an AGW proponent.
But it's silly to see temporary weather events as anything consequential. Global warming/climate change is about patterns over long periods of time. A cold spell, or a warm spell, doesn't tell us anything.
You guys should understand the topic better if you're going to comment on it. Most on the right who understand it acknowledge climate change, but also argue that man has little to do w/ it.

Which is why you called it BS that climate & weather are different?
Interesting.
So you can't answer the questions ...
The Goracle predicted an epidemic of Katrinas slamming the U.S. every year? What happened?
Your computer climate models have failed to predict the warming hiatus. What happened, Nostradamus?
... and you're too stupid to realize you're being mocked for Al Gorian hysteria over weather events.![]()
When did I say that? If you're going to set up strawmen they use better quality straw!

Even if that were true, which it isn't, you would never be in a position to judge. I don't bring that much of my knowledge here because it would be wasted to a great extent. Quoting Matthew's gospel, casting pearls before swine is the appropriate response to you.Tom, you don't really have a "vast hinterland."
You're an example of a little knowledge being a dangerous thing.
Give me strength!Um...the OP?
superfluous comma
No shit shaper, you possess an ocean of knowledge exactly one inch deep and leagues of disinformation you spew on the web like the deepwater horizon does oil in the formerly pristine mental seascape.
Naturally you'll get the usual bullshit about the difference between climate and weather, that's to be expected.

None of that even makes sense. If you're mocking me for Al Gore's hysteria, you're really quite foolish, because I said I don't stand by him on the topic - never did.
Again - you sound a bit desperate. You should read more on the topic; I'll just leave you w/ that.
You're not very bright are you, I was anticipating the usual limp responses and was proved right. It's truly sad, after all my attempts to educate you on the subject, this is the best you can do.Please explain what you meant with the bolded.

Can you explain what you meant with what you're now saying is a poorly worded OP?
I am saying nothing of the kind, it is perfectly obvious what was meant ffs.

I went all the way through university studying pure chemistry with some atmospheric chemistry and physics thrown in but never attained the doctorate level of understanding you obviously possess. They taught me the Arrhenius equation, IR bending and stretching absorption frequencies of CO2 along with water vapour, methane etc. but learning about weather and climate was far too advanced for me.Yep, sure is. You were saying that the difference between climate & weather is the "usual BS."
With your vast hinterlands of knowledge.
