About 2/3s of JPP members are elderly Euro-American single males who Father Time has reduced from being the most important man in their families to the most impotent member. This makes them frustrated and angry which drives family away from them creating even more frustration and anger. It's a vicious cycle.

In short, don't take it personal. They're just venting.

IMHO, the nastier and more vicious the vent, the worse their life is for them. After trying to discuss topics with them to see if they are capable, I've found most are not. They're just angry and they want to spread their anger to whoever gets in their way.
