One..."gun rights" are not going to be changed...no matter what. You are going to own your guns whether the abomination, Donald Trump, is president...or the MUCH, MUCH, MUCH more qualified Hillary Clinton had been elected.
Guns are here to stay...and anyone who thinks they can get rid of them is someone advocating for the second American Civil War.
As for the "deplorable" remark...I think Hillary was being kind. MUCH more than one-half of the Trump supporters are DEPLORABLE...and should be in a basket marked "DEPLORABLES."

Yet in that relatively short time, Trump has treated our long-term allies and trading partners quite shabbily,
while also treating among the worst leaders on Earth with more respect than them.
Trump took the word of Russia's Putin, over the consensus view of United States (Trump's own) intelligence agencies on Russian meddling in U.S. election.
Trump has the U.S. on the verge of global trade war, and has already harmed workers both in agriculture, and manufacturing.
The U.S. has built solid relationships with our (former?) partners over generations. Such friendships & alliances are extremely valuable commodities.
Yet Trump is squandering them, with precious little to show for it.
Trump is fast eroding our standing in the world. His "America first" slogan raises questions among our former friends about U.S. commitment to the principles espoused under previous presidential administrations.
It does...I acknowledge that.
I fear for my country...and for humanity with this man having this much power.

My townhouse was built without proper attention to site drainage. So in rainstorms the basement would have flooded.
We worked around that by installing a sump-pump. It was as automatic as your toilet tank, and it kept my basement dry enough to keep the wood paneling fresh.
You can keep swapping out the buckets catching the leaks in the roof, or you can patch the leak in the roof.
Your call.
BUT !!
Simply having a sump-pump isn't enough. It has to be located properly, needs adequate drainage to draw water from anywhere that may threaten your building, and should expel effluent to "daylight", or it may merely trickle back in, and eventually overwhelm the system.
If it's a shed, put it on stilts, with a PT ramp.
