By definition, coups are sudden. A years long violent overthrow of a government would not be a coup, it would be a revolution. But even there, you have a problem, because there was no violence. Trying to keep someone from being elected is called a political campaign, and is completely legal.
I am sure you feel that the statements by Obama, Clinton, Biden, etc. are wrong. Again, that does not make them illegal or treasonous. Both sides feel the other side is wrong, but both sides are Constitutionally protected against that.
As for trump's intelligence investigation into Obama's use of an intelligence investigation... Can you see the problem with that?
