Two Questions For Trump Haters

I put a high value on both of these.

While I don't hate Trump or anyone else, I opposed his presidency partly because of his view of freedom. Calling for a restriction on the press, social media and others who did not support him goes against principles of freedom.

I hate to tell you this, Flash, but you are a misfit in this discussion.

No offense intended.

The fact that I dangled the Trump name was like chumming the waters to attract sharks.

Trump Hate has been such a ruinous pathology. For many years now any insanity or abuse passes so long as it is in the service of hurting Trump, or the people who like Trump.

Yes, and everything.

I have seen many freedoms eroded during my lifetime. Just wish I could roll it all back so future America could have the freedoms I had. People before me had even more.

They do not understand these days because they never had those freedoms.

Everybody is chained to a phone to interact with the world. What kind of freedom is that when everything you do is determined by Google and Apple as predetermined in the OS of their phones? There are other options.

I once called the police because there was a phone assault in my apartment. They demanded I call the police, both of them.

She hit him in the head with the phone. It left a nasty bump. Assault with phone was aggravated battery in those days.

The phone didn't break. His head? Looked like it hurt.

That was after 2002, even. Before that people lost a lot of freedoms.

"The Patriot Act Act". W. Bush was a traitor globalist. His granddaddy financed the Nazis for WW2.

I am not convinced that W was the bad guy some rw'ers say he is/was. But I also haven't researched the accusations against him.

HERITAGE FOUNDATION: "How Modern Liberals Think"

01:43
oh I tell a story
01:48
it's not a true story but I think it
01:50
kind of clarifies what happened to me I
01:52
say imagine being in a restaurant with
01:54
an old friend and you're catching up and
01:56
suddenly he blurts out I hate my wife he
01:59
kind of chuckled to yourself because he
02:01
says it every time you're together and
02:02
you know he doesn't hate his wife
02:03
they've been together for 35 years
02:05
he loves his daughters and they're just
02:07
like her no he doesn't hate his wife
02:10
they're having some dinner and you look
02:12
out the window and you spotted
02:13
life in out the window and she's being
02:16
beaten up and you grab your friend you
02:18
say come on come on let's help her let's
02:20
help your wife and he says no I'm sure
02:22
she deserves it at that moment it dawns
02:25
on you he really does hate his wife
02:27
that's what 9/11 was to me I would hear
02:30
my friends from the left say how evil
02:32
and horrible and racist and imperialist
02:34
ik and oppressive America is and I'd
02:36
laughed myself dad they always say that
02:38
they love America and then on 9/11 we
02:41
were beaten up and I grabbed him by the
02:43
collar he jumped up and said come on
02:44
let's help her let's help America and
02:46
they said no she deserves it
02:48
at that moment I realized they really do
02:51
hate America

Huge differences between "not my president" and "he wasn't elected president".

Not accepting the results vs not acknowledging the person/position.

Trump won in 2016 but he never represented me as the president.

Trump lost in 2020. Biden may not be "your" president but he is the elected president.

I would never defend an assault on our Capitol, never.

I will never put a person or party over the country.

In the case of those who post as you do, you can find freedom under the "crossed swords."

Outside the USA.

Being under those crossed swords is just what I don't want. Under Trump and the present day GOP, that's just where we're headed.
