Affirmative action, which benefits white women more than anyone else does not discriminate, it ensures the participation of all segments of our society, including handicapped, impared, and disabled white men.

There are lots of white men who not only support the program, but also voted it into being.

So you don't believe any affirmative action programs exist? How do they work? Discrimination, that's how.

White guilt is pervasive, that's why white men have voted for it. Plus, older white men use it to kick down others beneath them.

I simply do not agree with your assessment brother.

Without affirmative action discrimination prevails .. and there is hundreds of years of history to prove that.

Is your solution to let the "market" determine how long and how deep discrimiantion prevails?

not by definition, in practice most racist are rightwing, as the left has enlightenment and supports a hand up for the brothers.
Unlike most of you right wing racist who are from the North or Midwest and have hardly seen a black man, I grew up with them in the south. And being poor as a kid I've seen how you can be descriminated against for being white and poor. The poor black man has like 2 strikes already just coming up to bat.:pke:

Let me give you the sports analogy.

Without pressure to ensure that blacks had an equal opportunity to play sports we were denied that opportunity. With pressure, blacks now have a serious presence in sports. Was that "discrimination" against white players .. or was there already an over-presence of white players based on discrimination, not ability?

Without pressure blacks were denied coaching positions in American majoe sports. With pressure, blacks now have a serious presence as coaches in American sports. Was Tony Dungy an example pf discrimiantion against white men .. or were white men already enjoying an over-presence due to discrimination?

... but as I said, if you don't want to debate it, cool.

China is America's biggest competitor and bridges must be built that travel both ways to form better relationships.

Chinese people know thrift, hard work and sacrifice.

USA people are obese and lazy without self-control or cultural heritage of financial prudence.

China is a nation of savers and lenders.

USA borrows and spends and then borrows more.
