U.S. ‘Benign China’ Policy Ending

There is a reason that we have treated China well. Our corporation moved there to make products for cheap, unprotected labor and no environmental regulation. Our corporations took them along when they moved.
We made China into the power they are ,for short term profits. Our wealthy see the US as a market. They also see if Chinese people get more wages and purcghasing power, they will not need the US anymore.

This is hilarious. It is National Made in America week, and Trump made a speech about it. Trump and Ivankas overpriced crap is made in China and other 3rd world countries. How does he get the standing to make a speech about it? Trumpettes are such suckers.

Having done business there, maybe he knows more about China than past presidents and even some of the so-called experts.

The difference between China and Russia is you don’t need to hype the threat from the former. Putin is weak, his economy is weak and I think even Putin knows that everyone knows it. China is a bigger threat than Russia economically and militarily and they are a bigger threat as a regional hegemon than Russia is.

The fact that Russia could threaten Montenegro is nearly comical. Today’s Russia certainly isn’t your uncle’s USSR lol.

The Lefties insane obsession with the Russians demonstrates just how unserious they are on foreign policy—and they shouldn’t be taken seriously. Russia is The Resistance’s blunt instrument used to bash Trump. If Trump disappeared today, they would forget about Russia by next week.

Serious people realize China is the bigger issue. And we are long overdue for a recalibration of relations with them on trade as well as other fronts.

The End of Benign Relations is as good a name as any for it as any.
