I really don't think so... my personal experience living in a muslim country was that the VAST majority of muslims were quite devout and quite peaceful... and very friendly.

I addressed rapes in the middle east ("Nobody's going to apologize for the Muslims") and then brought up rapes in America because there's sooo much right wing outrage over this woman being jailed for not having witnesses to her rape, yet 54% of rapes in this country go unreported. And nobody cares.
