UC Berkley Dean: Nothing has prepared me for the antisemitism I see on college campus

I in no way profess myself some expert on this subject because I am not, but I do know you will find plenty of arguments that say anti-zionism and anti-semitism are NOT two completely different things. And not in all cases but definitely some/maybe even many that anti-semitism is just below the surface of anti-zionism.

Well, I suppose every person has their own underlying reasons for being both pro and anti anything.

A lot of American Christian types are pro-Israel only because the Bible says so.

Some people are anti-Israel because of underlying anti-Semitism.

I don't think there is any majority causation or at least one that can be known, because people are often times not forthcoming with their true motivations for such things.

I just know that subdividing and giving away half of Palestine for whatever the reasoning was, turned out to have been an incredibly bad idea and may well one day lead to destruction so massive that all of mankind could be affected and possibly even wiped out completely.

Which, when you think about it, might not be such a bad thing.

Whatever.

Thanks for clarifying that I am a typical ignorant Trumper, Neo Nazi piece of white trash.

I'll run along now, ... back to my gestapo and swastikas and re-glue my lips to Trump's ass

Awesome.

Anything to keep you away from here, stinking the place up with the vomit and diarrhea you call your thoughts and opinions.

What triggered the reactions? Easy, it is the bombing of Palestinians. There was no campus activity before that. Palestinians are having their hospitals bombed, their homes destroyed and families being killed. They are facing starvation and no water.
Do you anti-Arabs think they will just forget it when Israel's slaughter is done? There is a Palestinian doctor in Dearborn who says he has lost 20 family members. Explain to him why Israel is doing the right thing. His family was just living the low-level existence that Israel permitted. Now they have been blown apart and their homes are gone.

Actually this is inaccurate as battles over Israel and Palestine have been occurring on college campuses well before Oct 7th. Then you had rallies on campuses in support of said bombing.

I appreciate your response in this regard, it's telling of the mindset that you either won't, or can't, acknowledge the professor talking about the large rise in anti-semitism. In theory at least one can not support all the policies of the Israeli gov't while still being against anti-semitism. However here it seems if anti-semtism is part of standing up for Palestinians and speaking out against Israel, then it's either deemed acceptable or something that can be overlooked.
