That’s fine with me, I don’t care if he goes to jail, if standards suggest he should. But I don’t find any of it relevant unless there is some evidence of a connection suggesting his father helped him or benefited knowingly.

Well, emails saying he was giving 10% to "the big guy" and other ones describing his father as "the big guy" are certainly evidence. Now whether it is compelling seems to reside on which side of the political spectrum one resides...

The only reason you wouldn't find it compelling evidence is because Brandon wears a D on his jersey. If there was a text from Donald Jr. saying this you'd have been apoplectic.

A money trail should be easy to follow. When did this alleged graft take place? How does it rank compared to Trump's graft? Other Congress critters?

Impeachment is a political event. They knew they would fail but believed that they would get net positive results from impeachment and that republicans would get a net negative when it came to election time. At this time it looks like they didn't get the calculus quite right...

Over time we will find out, it may take an election so that congress can begin an investigation. The laptop has distinct and compelling evidence of Brandon's son benefiting from his father's position, and some evidence (again whether one thinks it is compelling evidence seems to directly relate to the political party of the individual) that Brandon himself may have knowingly benefited as well. It's pretty clear to most of America that his son broke the law and may face some penalties, how deep into the rabbit hole "the big guy" happens to be is something that needs to be investigated and The People need to know.

Exactly, and as with the Clinton impeachment it backfired. The only difference was the Republicans weren't stupid enough to try it a second time.
