Bad news is he was arrested for manslaughter not murder. Video shows the victim was standing at the time so how did the hockey player accidentally slash his neck with his skate? UK press censored this killing since the killer is black, but public pressure has forced the authorities to do something.

nov 14 2023 Police in England have arrested Sheffield Steelers player Matt Petgrave on suspicion of manslaughter for the in-game death of former NHL player Adam Johnson last month, The Daily Mail Online reports.

Johnson was killed after Petgrave’s skate slashed his neck during a game on October 28.

‘Detectives have today (Tuesday 14 November) arrested a man on suspicion of manslaughter. He remains in police custody at this time.

“On Saturday 28 October, Adam, aged 29, was seriously injured during a game between Nottingham Panthers and Sheffield Steelers and was sadly later pronounced deceased in hospital. A post-mortem examination confirmed he died as a result of a fatal neck injury.”

Look hockey is the most racist sport in the history of sports. The only black thing in hockey is the puck and that's getting slapped around.

I've seen the video of this incident. this charge is absolutely ridiculous. hockey is a dangerous sport and hard hits can send people sprawling, spinning, and all kinds of other crap.

Europe has lost their shit over this

It wasn't "accidentally" per se. Watching the video I see a player making a move that would not be considered part of the game in order to attempt to injure another player, the "accidentally" was in the level of damage. The guy was not attempting to kill him, but his actions still caused the guy's death. This would be manslaughter. Now if he did it trying to kill him it would be murder.

Had he just been injured it would be Reckless Endangerment, but because he was killed it became Manslaughter. (Every time I write that word I think of Man's Laughter, English is awesome). Now because he was trying to hurt the guy it would be First Degree Manslaughter in many States in the US. I am not sure they have degrees for Manslaughter in the UK though.

The victim was standing, you idiot. And the killer deliberately slashed his neck! Of course he was trying to kill him. If he slashed his leg and the blood loss led to death, your argument might work. THINK
