UK has become a police state

You need to get past the left/right bullshit. They're on the same team that got rid of our Bill of Rights. Every time a won a court case on constitutional rights, it was a lefty judge that punished the prosecutor for their misconduct. Righty judges still side with the constitution but they don't go after the people pretending it doesn't exist.
There are still some on the right who are good people.

Everyone on the left has become corrupt, evil, self-serving, and twisted.

Destroy ALL on the left. Destroy most on the GOP Uniparty, and the world gets better.

It won't necessarily survive, but without the evil freak'n Lefties, and McConnell, it has a chance.

GWB gave us the patriot act that was written a year before 911. Do you have any idea what the patriot act did to the US constitution?
I understand the Patriot Act ... which makes one of us. The Act was written all throughout deliberations, and was only finalized upon signing, which occurred after 9-11, not prior.

Are you going to tell us that the Patriot Act ran roughshod over the Constitution? I'd really like to hear/read this.

She does not have a male biology.
Let's all remember that Frank Apisa is a scientifically illiterate moron who can't even recognize a living human, much less distinguish genders.

Imane Khelif, Lin Yu-Ting, Chris Mboma, et. al., are all men. They were all born with XY chromosomes and, as such, have every athletic advantage of male biology.

Why don't you morons stop that bullshit.
I see no reason to dignify your fantasies of men beating on women and living humans being killed who have not committed any crime. Your bullshit sucks so no, I won't help you replace it for the truth.

In your next life, stay awake in school.

You seem to be spot on. Tell me more.

Nothing. The Constitution is still there and was unchanged by the Patriot Act.

The Patriot Act itself, however, is unconstitutional.

It was a mistake with good intentions. The same can be said for many things politicians do. For example, the EPA and OSHA were good ideas initially. What happens over time is primarily from the Left they take such ideas and carry them out to radical extremes that destroy the value of the initial idea. The Right would say Don't do it at all and that can be bad too, but not equally bad to how the Left forces their ideas down everyone's throats like it or not.

The Right can be bad for not acting. The Left will act and, in the end, destroy everything it touches.
Both the EPA and OSHA are unconstitutional. Congress never had any authority to create such institutions with this kind of authority.

That kind of authority belongs, if anywhere, with the States or with the people.

That did not happen, so get past it. She has been a girl her whole life and has fought a long time as a girl with no conflict. She lost a few fights too. The Olympic testing discovered that her testosterone was slightly elevated according to their rules.
He is not a girl.

Made it possible for the govt to shut down the country for a plandemic and mandate people get experimental non effective vaccines?
That was Democrats, not the government. They violated the Constitution doing it.

The government is that created and defined by the Constitution of the United States. It is therefore a republic.

The UK is under a totalitarian regime; it has fallen to tyranny under PM Keir Starmer. One former Member of Parliament told me this morning that close to 1000 arrests have been made for sharing online posts in the last week. The same MP advised me that even a stopover through Heathrow isn't safe for Americans who have spoken out about immigration issues. "One key aspect that makes this apparent crackdown on social media particularly shocking to critics is that the British government is threatening to extradite American citizens from the U.S. to be jailed in the U.K. for violating their rules about political speech online." - NY Post. Britain is now under siege
Right. Apparently the Prime Minister forgot that Britain lost both wars against what is now the United States. The UK has no authority here.

That it is. It's also unconstitutional.

The federal government has no authority to conduct broad searches of US citizens, either in airports or anywhere else.
of course, i was a stupid neocon fascist at the time and thought it was dandy.

I used to be real stupid.

Yes. It does.

It allows the government to collect and monitor cell phone data, including location data, on a mass scale WITHOUT a warrant of any kind; violating the 4th amendment.

It allows the government to indiscriminately search people at airports on a mass scale WITHOUT a warrant of any kind; violating the 4th amendment and 5th amendments.

It restricts the right to travel on a public conveyance by requiring a mass search.
It's nosy interest in your location data for your communications is effectively a mass search.
"Your papers, please" is more than just showing your boarding pass.

People flew, rode trains, rode buses, rode in ships, rode horses, carts, and cars and trucks; down any public road they wanted; in the United States for most of it's existence before this kind of surveillance became the "norm".

Yes. It does.
Nope. It does not. The Constitution does not guarantee privacy. The word "privacy" doesn't even appear in the Constitution. You are pointing to apparent invasions of privacy as somehow being violations of the Constitution. They're not.

If you believe privacy should be protected under the Constitution, push for a Constitutioinal amendment. I'll support you.

It allows the government to collect and monitor cell phone data, including location data, on a mass scale WITHOUT a warrant of any kind; violating the 4th amendment.
It does not violate the 4th Amendment. As long as the information collected is not used against you, and not made for public use, there is nothing in the Constitution to which you can point as a violation.

It allows the government to indiscriminately search people at airports on a mass scale WITHOUT a warrant of any kind;
One thing you are forgetting is that warrantless searches can occur. What happens when they do? Answer: All information is thrown out of court. So, what if you are looking for a suicide bomber in an airport? You search everybody, find the bomber, neutralize him, and have all the information thrown out of court.

OK, I'll live with that.

violating the 4th amendment and 5th amendments.
There's no violation.

It restricts the right to travel on a public conveyance by requiring a mass search.
Nobody's travel is restricted. Some people are inconvenienced. Inconvenience is not a violation of the Constitution.

People flew, rode trains, rode buses, rode in ships, rode horses, carts, and cars and trucks; down any public road they wanted; in the United States for most of it's existence before this kind of surveillance became the "norm".
I get it. It won't be long before ubiquitous cameras connected to retina/iris scan databases will identify everyone going through our airports and bus terminals. Technology is redefining "privacy" every day.
