And yet, the Libertarian men here are discussing it. And none of them have been discussing the stunning attack on women happening right there in this country. A fight to allow women's employers, any employer (owner???) btw, this is not about churches, refuse her birth control coverage from health insurance she has both earned, and paid into. As a guy, and especially as a guy who lives in the northeast, this perspective just isn't on my mind most of the time. I tend to see the battle on this front as "won," but in a way, that kind of sentiment is probably the equivalent of someone like Yurt thinking racism is the same both ways or something.

BULLSHIT! this is NOT legally sanctioned! This is a couple, or few, pencilheads wanking off in a university! This has no chance of ever being legally sanctioned in the UK or the US.

This is a bunch of wanking but the war on women is real, it's happening, and the language that is being used is degrading and dehumanizing and it's catching on, and there will be real world repercussions.

I know, I used to think that, but it's not won Onceler. They never stop. They are making terrifying advances. I thought I saw all the crazy during the 90s', but I never saw this coming. Never.

And since I am already going off, it's really important to understand, or in the case of women since we already understand, to not back down from this one simple truth:: birth control is women's health. There can be nothing more important to a woman's health than spacing and planning when and how many children she has.

Insurance companies are already regulated that they must cover preventive care like mammograms. This is no different.

I don't give a fuck for anyone's "morals". My morals are women's lives, and those depend on access to birth control.

I saw Senators today make the argument (while arguing against the blunt amendment) that it was too broadly written - why,employers could actually deny any health care treatment under this! In other words? OMG THis could affect MEN!

Well, not me. I keep my focus exactly where it's supposed to be. This isn't wrong because it might affect men, it's wrong because it deprives women of their health care which is part of their compensation package from their employer. They have earned it in exchange for their labor, and today, most people partly pay into it in addition.
