the definition speaks for itself. If ten thousand morons posted on the internet that 2 + 2 = 5, regardless of how many google hits you got for that, it would still not make it correct. Socialism requires government control of the means of production. period.

A dictionary RECORDS usage. It does NOT validate. Therefore the larger the dictionary the more neologisms it will contain and the only qualification for their inclusion is that there is written evidence that they have been used in a particular context. There is no right or wrong in this process.

Fact is, 10 thousand morons haven't posted that 2+2 =5 and not even one hit....but 316,000 hits, some of them very respected and reputable sites, discuss French Socialism, etc.....but then one clown on JPP says it just can't exist....

I copied the definition directly from Webster's. I don't care if millions of people write about something.... if they are using the word socialism to describe a legitimate government that does NOT control the means of production, then they are misusing the word.

Unless, like you, they feel that they can redefine that word to suit their purposes.

its not an obsession, when you talk exactly like maineman, use the same insults in pm and on the board...its pointing out truth in contrast to your lies

I may very well write like this maineman fella... he must be a pretty good writer then, because I used to do it for a living... but now, I'm just an old retired fella and want to talk politics here, not have this creepy guy follow me around loading up my mailbox and my reputation list on a daily basis with his rants about me being someone else.
