Unintended consequences....

You could be correct. I drove and worked when I was 16 and 17 like a boss.

Yep....me too. I spent my summers as a Laborer on construction sites for my dads company beginning at 15. Hauling brick, block and stone all day,...mixing mortar and hauling it,... pouring concrete. You know,.... FUN stuff like that!

THAT TOO. Biggest thing I see in the young is a terrible lack of urgency. Everything is just ho hum when I get to it I get to it when it comes to work. Drives me nuts!

And still expecting to be paid. Looking at a damn phone all day.

Yep. Those fucking phones need to be locked away in their cars or somewhere all day long till the shift is over. No need for them when working.

Exactly. Those are my orders. In their lockers. When on watch no phone.

16 year olds awarded right to vote.

Then comes legally making them adults at 16. Why not? They are allowed to help decide the fate of the nation.

Can be drafted into military service. Drink and smoke dope.

Oh,....no more tax write offs either for you as they arent a dependent anymore.

Responsible for their own medical and medical bills.

As adults they are free to marry at 16. Run up debt they are responsible for,..ect ect...

This opens the door to a whole plethora of things that can happen.

And if you think these things are crazy and cant happen,....... think again. Who ever thought anyone would be crazy enuff to allow 16 year old kids help decide the fate of a nation?

18 year olds can vote now, but cannot drink alcohol legally. Becoming an adult happens in stages. You post is full of nonsense that does not understand that.

By the way, it is Republicans pushing for more marrying of minors. In several states, it is completely legal to marry a 16 year old.

The lending institutions will have a FIELD DAY. Gonna start em young. Parasite off of them at 16 years old. Get them when they are REALLY young and dumb.

Yes, because lending institutions love lending money to people who do not pay them back. [SARCASM]

I can see why Stone's family does not allow him to run the family business.

didn't the House pass it?.......will Biden veto it?......

The For The People Bill passed the House, but has not been taken up by the Senate yet. The Republicans in the Senate can block a lot of things.

More importantly, it has absolutely nothing about 16 year olds voting. That is just a lie by the Alt Right.

Who said anything about not paying them back?

Have you ever been involved in any sort of business? If you give someone a loan that they will not pay back, you have just lost money. That is the reason lenders are not eager to give young people loans.

So wait......it seems YOU are saying young people arent responsible enuff to borrow money. But THEY ARE responsible enuff to help decide the fate of a nation ??

trump is not responsible enough to borrow money, so do you want to take away his voting rights?

Voting rights is not connected to credit worthiness. The credit scoring companies do not decide who votes.
