Unmanned: America’s Drone Wars," (the movie)

I'd rather have threeD using video game drone than exchanging small arms fire in a fair fight.

At least you can appreciate the evolution of warfare. Imagine how much harder it would be for ground forces in Afghanistan if snipers were still considered a dishonorable and cowardly component of combat? Thankfully, Lincoln and American forces didn't listen to mid-19th Century custom regarding the use of snipers, and they were put to use during the Civil War.

The American people don't want what the right is offering.

that is why they CHEAT in elections.

they can no longer cheat and win.

they have been OUTED

I see in quotes Desh is still blabbing the long disproven lie about Bush "lying us into war," making him untrustworthy.

However, what does she think about the truth of:

Lincoln lying to Congress about southern approaches for peace talks, and deliberately prolonging the war, causing thousands of unnecessary deaths... just to get the 13th Amendment through the House?

Does she deem Lincoln to be unworthy of trust?

Lincoln most certainly lied to keep the war going.

The root of this problem is that we had a very reliable ally in Pervez Musharaff. Naturally, because he was an ally of President Bush, Democrats deemed him evil and began beating the drums to get rid of him. Even though he had his security forces tracking Al Qaeda within his borders and was providing our intelligence services with precise locations. He was a reliable ally to the point that there were numerous assassination attempts against him.

The Dems wanted Bhutto, even though she was clearly playing both sides of the fence with the USA and Al Qaeda, which is why Al Qaeda killed her.

Now the imbecile Musharaff removed via coup is back in charge of Pakistan. We have no reliable ally on the ground there. Our drone strikes will not be as well-researched as they were in the days of Musharaff.

The problem lies not with the drones themselves. The problem comes from the Democrats latching onto *ANYTHING*, regardless of its effects on national security, to beat a Republican president up with.
It's a good theory, as theorys are Bhutto was killed by Musharraff (he was indicted), or perhaps fundamnetalist.
Don't know if AQ central ( Pakistan) was involved.

The drones deaths are not because they are not targeted as closely as, say a strike run by aircraft - it is the nature of thier easy use.
we accep ta certian level of "collateral damage" - in order to target the 'bad guys'

I honestly don't think it matter whom is Paki PM; we are arrogant, and willing to use our military in the persuit of....whatever the hell we are doing there.

how do you fight a movement that is merely being tolerated by a government?

You don't - unless you think you are God, and you don't show many of the signs, do you? The chances of any potent intervention in the USA are very small indeed - far less than we lived with when your politicians were supporting the IRA.
