Well for the past few days I have been lucky to have a whole room to myself. Now I am finally having to share a room with some guy. The guy clearly wants to sleep but the family has decided to hang around anyway. So they are yammering away talking and gabbing.
 
Sounds like you wish you were here. ;) How long are you in for? Hope the family leaves, like minutes ago.
 
she just closed my window. I'm hot, I am a patient in a hospital, and the bitch closes my window. She needs to die.

You could say, "Please leave the window open, perhaps you can go find a nurse with a blanket for your father/uncle/brother?"

I don't like being rude. In person I'm very pleasant and thus I have to whine here.
The kid snores too, horribly so. This seriously sucks.

It certainly doesn't sound like how I'd like to spend Thanksgiving weekend. Are you getting food or restricted diet? Yeah, thinking about the whole thing, it does suck!
 
i'm not allowed to eat or drink anything I am being fed solely by IV. Basically my large intestine became perforated which is the term they used. I'm eventually going to have to have part of it removed. In the meantime I spend all day lying in bed. When you have other peoples relatives start just hanging around your room like it's their vacation while you are in pain it's a bigger deal than it sounds.

It sucks to be you. Seriously you were lucky dude, could have had serious peritonitis from that. I'm sure that's why the wait for surgery? Have they figured out what caused that in someone as young as you?

Start talking to yourself like you have an imaginary friend and maybe they will ask to have their loved one moved?
 
for the record the kid was a loundmouthed italian asshole and had a mafia family. He was probably from medford. I fucking HATE PEOPLE FROM MEDFORD.

he's gone now though.

And if you get another annoying roommate, try cough loudly without covering your mouth, then mumble about how having AIDs sucks.

Or have the same coughing attack and mumble "Damn I hope they figure out where I got this Bird Flu"
