US adds fewer jobs than expected

Job growth is a key indicator of future economic expansion
Employers in the US added 92,000 new jobs in July, the lowest rate of employment since February, Department of Labor numbers show.

In a further discouraging sign of the pace of economic growth, the national unemployment rate rose to its highest level since the start of the year.

The 4.6% unemployment rate in July was the highest since a similar 4.6% rate in January.

In addition, for the first time in 18 months, the government cut hiring.

92,000 is not that bad, with the mortgage idiots screaming for help and the average investor shitting his pants right now it's a great time to buy stocks.:clink:

count on topper to always find the silver lining in the weakest post-world war 2 economic recovery on record.

He's giving good advice though. Don't assume that because you disagree with him sometimes politically that his advice is bad. It is a good time to buy.

count on Cypress Castro to be the ever present whiney little dem bitch.

the number of millionaires has gone up by 4,000,000 in the last 6 yrs, your retarded:pke:

Hey, if you're looking for an argument against the idea that the disparity between the haves & have nots keeps growing at an accelerated pace, you're not gonna get one here...

I'm talking about globalism. Globalism is about globalism.

This is an honest question, not a rhetorical one. If all countries pretty much shut down its borders and only deal economically with itself how is that better than globilization?

How is outsourcing all jobs beneficial to working class americans? I mean if we're speaking in extremist rhetoric...

Ok, let me ask this way. What policies would you like to see implemented in the U.S. to either stop globalization or have it on terms that are acceptable to you?

Funny how this condition shut you neocons the f-up. You know that this moderate request is considered heresy by the immoral globalists you parrot, yet you also know their position is ultimatley indefensible. So ya, you stayed quiet. At least you know when you're beaten.

Anyone in particular you are talking to with your post?

Limit trade partners to those with a similar orientation towards human rights and personal freedoms.

It's cowboy politics. If we stop trading with them all we're doing is starving people, and those states then get to use anti-US sentiment and feelings of intereference with national sovereignity to increase the popularity of their regime.

Cuba wouldn't have lasted half this time without the blockade. In fact, if we had just not treated Castro like a piece of shit, he probably never would have reverted to the USSR and Cuba would've probably become a democracy by now.
