US doctors claim that hydroxychloroquine drug DOES help 91% of COVID Patients

"Abstract" is within normal behavior...especially if it's defined as "no personality". :)

The further a person moves from "abstract" then the more extreme and narrow-minded/viewed they become. Like a blob of "abstract" clay, most people are molded by life into a unique shape....a few people, for whatever reasons, are molded into bitter, hateful and ugly shapes. For that matter, "abstract" people rarely post, they prefer lurking. Biased people with the gumption to say so will speak their unique minds....right or wrong.

"Abstract" would be preferable over "extremist", IMO, since the "abstract" retain the ability to be molded.
And every so often, we find ourselves being molded. For the better

That's the challenge; to be better.

Big city police often see the seamier side of life; homeless, mentally ill, drug addicts, suicides, etc. It destroys some police officers because all they see are the negatives, which partially explains such a high suicide rate among police.

What those police see in the course of their jobs isn't what most Americans see every day. Similarly, what we see on these forums isn't a true picture of what most Americans are seeing since political forums are overrun by political junkies, me included, and nutjobs like the TD twins, Grok, etc. The forums are a skewed viewpoints points off the American norm. A lot of it is just a regurgitation of Fox News or other news pundits. The conspiracy theory nonsense has been around for decades, long before the Internet.

Having suffered through morons and trolls for decades, I always tell people that I'm thankful for their nonsense.

Over the years there have been some pretty intense debates re. important issues. During the healthcare debates, and during the crash of '08, there was so much disinformation posted, I was forced to do in depth research.

One of my favorites, and one that simply won't die, is the 'The CRA caused the housing market to crash the economy'.

These trolls do serve a purpose. They force you to actually learn something. Shame that it doesn't work in reverse. Grock is STILL complaining about 'Wikileaks'.

Reading new spins on the nonsense of conspiracy theorists is part of the fun for me.

With so many people actually believing the crap trolls are posting, maybe they aren't all trolls? It's like Trump; is he a chronic liar or a highly delusional believer of what he says?

Grok, like the TD twins, is insane.

Hydroxy has very limited use. In very sick people it takes their hospital time from 15 to 11 days. That, of course, is a small part of the sick. Trump just lies .

It is very effective used early, to mitigate the SYMPTOMS, particularly thoracic and pulmonary CONGESTION, WHICH IS WHAT KILLS PEOPLE WITH COVID....

NEW YORK, NY—When Jeffrey Walton tested positive for COVID-19, he hoped for a speedy recovery. But since he has been treated with hydroxychloroquine, the experimental treatment President Donald Trump has been touting, he now hopes he dies quickly to help prove that Trump is an idiot.

While Trump has been giving people hope that hydroxychloroquine could save lives, his political opponents have called it false hope and claimed Trump has no idea what he’s talking about. Walton, a lifelong Democrat and progressive, had joined in calling Trump “irresponsible” and an “ignoramus” and now has an opportunity to prove it by simply dying. “It’s such an opportunity, I don’t want to pass it up,” Walton said.

Doctor Glenn Logan, Walton’s physician, says he’s been up and down. “After we gave him the hydroxychloroquine, he got really excited about the idea of dying to prove Trump is dumb, and his good mood helped his condition, and he started to improve. Because that would only help Trump, his getting healthier made him depressed, which caused his condition to deteriorate. Which made him really happy. Which helped him recover and... Well, it’s been a weird cycle.”

Dr. Logan has been warning Walton that there is a chance he could fully recover. Walton is trying to prepare himself for this -- a world where everything isn’t black and white and Trump can be right about some things -- but he insists he’d much rather die.
