US drug bust in Ecuador, do we have this much money?

From about 2002-2005, I had an insane, irrational hatred of Bush that easily matched even the most hysterical liberal on this board. Around 2005 when public opinion really started swinging against him, I just started to feel sorry for the guy.

I mean, he has been a shitty President and no intelligent person can deny that. But he is hardly the worst. Basically he has been a below average Prez with several particularly bad occurrences like the housing market collapse and Katrina that give him a very bad legacy.

LOL

I never really hated Bush much. Just Republicans. I felt sorry for Bush, I just think he's in way over his head, I don't think he's an evil creature out of the depths of hell. It's much easier for me to hate abstract ideas than people, though.

I mostly like Republicans, or rather I like what they claim to be.

Mostly I just like to go against the grain, though. In 2003, everyone around me supported Bush and the invasion so I went against it. By 2005, the new "cool" opinion was to hate Bush and the Republicans, so I started defending them in arguments. Basically I have an instinctive, non-ideological urge to disagree with the prevailing opinion.

Logistics fail?
