We have a friend who lives in Salt Lake City. Yesterday he posted on social media that three (unrelated to each other) non-white friends of his have been stopped while driving, questioned, and told that they need to get passports and carry them at all times.

Sad but true. I suspect that eventually the #TangerineTyrant will back off on his tariff threats but the damage has already been done, and it's still gonna get worse. I feel really bad for working families with kids. Between food and daycare costs, they are hurting.

They’re starting to find out! Temu and SHEIN prices have already increased. The cheap items in the US warehouses are running out, being replaced by the higher tariff items.

It's kind of ironic that the bad inflation during Biden's tenure, which was a direct result of the pandemic and totally out of the control of whoever had been POTUS at the time, wasn't his fault. Yet he got blamed by the MAGATs nevertheless. So in frustration the MAGATs elected Trump who is *deliberately* trashing the economy because he has no clue WTF is going on. How anyone could think that a multiple bankrupt failure is suitable to steer the world's largest economy is beyond me.
