US Senator Graham offers alternative to Ukraine's accession to NATO

I don’t believe that isolationism has ever worked, TD.

We have to engage. We did in WWI and WWII.
not getting caught up in everyone's petty arguments is not isolationism. That is a bogus argument

Switzerland doesn't get all up in anyone else's business and it works out just great for them

The war in Ukraine is not a petty argument…far from it.

Switzerland has maintained its neutrality because it is defended by others.

Switzerland is officially neutral and is not a member of NATO. However, since 1996 it has taken part in NATO's Partnership for Peace programme . This involves bilateral military cooperation and sharing of information and experiences

Why would anyone say that someone is a child rapist, if they've not been charged with or convicted of any such crime? The allegations and lies around from Democrats would surely break records on any forum, anywhere...

Indeed.

President Trump could sue poor Walter…if he had any assets.

In my opinion any conversation about Ukraine becoming or not becoming a member of NATO should not and will not be part of negotiations between Russia and Ukraine. A good negotiator never offers something they can't unilaterally deliver.

Membership in NATO requires unanimous agreement from every member nation, which is not going to happen right now for many reasons. Not to mention, how a country defends itself in future conflicts should not be part of negotiations aimed at stopping an ongoing conflict.

With Trump recently making it clear that Ukraine will have our complete support, (not holding back key weapons and key moments like the previous administration) short of American troops on the front lines, with a deal that secures our investment, Russia is suddenly more motivated than ever to take whatever they can get before things get much worse for them.

I think it will end with Russia getting a bit of nearly worthless land, then pulling back with their tail between their legs, leaving us with a strong partnership in the REM and oil business in Ukraine.

That's a win-win-lose deal that prioritizes America first. It will be another win on a long list of wins in a very short time.
