Welcome to the club my friend.
But then again .. when we said Saddam didn't have WMD we heard the same thing.
When we said the idea of "mushroom clouds in 45 minutes" was mindlessly stupid we heard the same thing.
When we said the Niger documents were forged we heard the same thing.
When we said an attack on Iraq would be the worst military blunder in US history we heard the same thing.
When we said the Bush Administration was full of lies and deceptions from top to bottom we heard the same thing.
We've heard the same crap, "unamerican", "unpatriotic", "loonies", all before.
Only we keep on being correct, and they keep on looking the fool.
Are those people we are referring to so stupid that they do not realize how they appear to the rest of the world ?
Amen! Even here, in the far left Bay Area, many -- perhaps even most -- people seem to feel compelled to point out that the invasion "began well" or was "well intended." One hears that we "got rid of their dictator for them" constantly. It seriously pisses me off.I don't intend to mess up this thread with another dose of reality, but most Americans still don't recognize the greatest deception that's sitting there like a big ass elephant .. no make that a big ass Godzilla in the room. Plain as day, clear as as bell, but Americans are too conditioned to see it, even though the rest of planet earth has known for several years.
