What evidence do you have that that is what is happening? Trump is gathering enormous power in the executive. This is a fundamental change in how America governs. It is possible that America will never recover from this power grab. We will be under a despot from now on. Forget elections. DOGE will eliminate all who work in elections. They will take over state governments and they will determine who wins elections.
It is silly that you Trumpys are not shocked by what is happening.
 
So now I hear on Public Radio that White House legal council clarified that Musk is NOT the head of DOGE. He is an advisor to the head of DOGE, who just happens to be trump.

I'm sure they studied the cases before the courts and realized that they will not win in court.
