Good to see Vets taking action against the phony draft dodger..

Their video is set to private..

Hillary Clinton hates the U.S. military. She has hated it since her days in Chicago as one of the so called intellectuals during the anti Vietnam left era. Hillary supported Tom Hayden, Jane Fonda, and Bill Ayers.

The stiff suits above are some of her lackeys and members of the political establishment in uniform. They care nothing about the lives of the soldiers beneath them.

Hillary was never a street fighter back then. She let others do the storm trooping for her much like she does now with Warren.

They said the same about her husband back in the 90's... Is it possible her views have changed/modified over the years??

The topic is trumpf, who got 5 deferments until he could find a doctor to writeOFF his bad foot, which he used to play lots of sports while getting those deferments..

There's a big difference between Pentagon bureaucrats in uniform who are yes men and women for the white house and military line officers who command combat brigades or lead their men into battle..... big difference.

Those former generals who are now civilians who supported Trump at the GOP convention received heavy criticism from the bureaucrats like those above for not staying out of politics as retired military. The pentagon bureaucrats in uniform are only worried about their own necks and their pensions like the politicians in congress, they're yes men and women. Hayden up there is pimping his book.

Hillary meanwhile, is no friend of the military. She despises the military since her days of opposing what they called the military industrial complex which included everybody in uniform.

OK...

I hope that you would hold the draft dodging trumpf to the same standard you held/hold bill clinton.............

I wonder what midcan thinks of the league forbidding the Dallas Cowboys from honoring our fallen police with symbols on their helmets?

This incident is the result of the NFL practicing political correctness with things like their stupid pretty in pink displays every year for a month. The NFL deserves this. What goes around, comes around. If the NFL falls like Europe did because both lacked the balls to fight political correctness but instead embraced it, then the league has nobody to blame but themselves.

The NFL is a business, as a business they have a legal right to make the rules. I don't consider this PC, it is rather a decision based on the environment of sport and its appeal to all people. If anything were allowed I'm sure you'd find lots to whine about. As for pink that's soothes the weekend widow. lol

As for Kaepernick, it takes a brave soul to challenge the status quo. http://www.counterpunch.org/2016/08/30/86202/

When the St Louis Rams players ran out on the field with their hands up for the fraud incident, hands up, don't shoot, what did the league do about it? Did they fine the players? No. Did they suspend the players? No.

The league practices political correctness and again, I revert back to the Dallas Cowboys incident and how quickly the league came down on the Cowboys when they wanted to show support for the fallen police of Dallas.

I guess you could say all businesses practice PC as they don't want to offend potential fans or customers. The problem with the Dallas symbolism is it could alienate other fallen people. Suppose someone wanted to use a gun crossed out because of all of the guns deaths in America. Ain't gonna fly, as the second element in a business decision is controversy. An impromptu show of hands or whatever is not permanent and will pass once, but dependent on who how and what, could eventually bring backlash. I found it ironic that Americans supported Chick fil a over the gay issue, for me America means freedom for all and rights for all. So Chick's bigotry doesn't work - But that's me.

the fact they support (and fought for) his right to say it doesn't mean they don't think he's an idiot......

Don't you think it a bit presumptuous to think for them? I wonder how Black and Hispanic military people feel about Trump? Lots of men and women enter the military to get an education and eventually a good job outside the military. Trump's record on race is not very positive. The odd thing this crazy election year is how he gets excused by his base for the constant flip flops.

Donald Trump earned the endorsement of 88 retired generals and admirals in an open letter released Tuesday, as the Republican nominee looks to solidify support in the military community against Hillary Clinton in November.

The Republican nominee's campaign unveiled the letter, organized by Major Gen. Sidney Shachnow, a 40-year Army veteran and Holocaust survivor, and Rear Admiral Charles Williams, ahead of a speech on veterans affairs in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

absolutely......that's why I was surprised you started this thread......

LOL your replies are so cute but so empty. The original post contains much information asking why any veteran would support republicans given their record. And Trump is using them as tools, since dodging the draft he may even feel a bit of .... nah, not Trump.

Philly, military folk can have their own wrong opinion just like plain folk.

PS glad to see this thread has gotten a lot of hits, information is powerful.
