Yes, the Lincoln is leaving the IO for transit home like the Roosevelt did before it. You are correct, there are no carriers present at the moment. This is simply an issue of the Navy not having enough carriers to cover all their commitments. The movements have ZERO to do with the risk of Houthi obsolescent missile and drone attacks.
