Sounds like a radar system you operated on, such as the AN/TPS-75, or the AN/APQ-93, both of which I have been trained to operate on in the past.

You're not the first to bring it up. At the very least, the Holy Trinity would like to meet up sometime. At the very least, I might be able to con Grind into meeting at a bar the next time he flies out here. :clink:

That's the same sort of thing i found when i had a quick look. There's lots of speculation by third parties about what Assange's motives may be and lots of commentators attributing threats against America to him, but direct quotes proving this are somewhat hard to come by. He doesn't appear to have said an awful lot.

It should also be made clear that the denial of service attacks that have hit Visa and Mastercard are orchestrated by a group of hackers angry at government interference in the freedom of the net, and censorship, rather than cyber soldiers for Assange or Wikileaks.

You know if that were the case and these supposed claims of his could indeed be attributed to the events with Visa and Mastercard, the first 20 hits on Google would be all about it. I combed various news stations and couldn't find any direct correlation between the two.

Odder yet, is Damocles usually explains his words; even if he was being sarcastic.
 
So, when did Visa and Mastercard become "the government?"

I think the government should identify as many of the attacker's IP addresses as possible, and make them public. Then kids the world over can test their own hacking skills...

I was just going on something I heard. I don't find anything about it on teh webs. So, it is likely some idiot on the radio spouting off.

However the "insurance" file certainly exists. 1.4 Gigs of encrypted zip file. That would be enough to release everything they have so far plus quite a few hundred thousand more pages.

Visa and Mastercard both use an outside company to run their charges (same company). Attacks on their websites will not effect your credit card.

An internets hacker may say - "when they bowed to government pressure to swiftly deny service to an organisation which has not been charged with any offence in any court."
