VOIGHT: My concerns for America

LOL Is that what your parents did to you? No wonder you're so fucked up.

My daughter, however, is well-adjusted and at 15 doesn't even see the need for makeup, never mind tats and piercings.

Thinking further, my brother's son is possibly as fucked up as you are, Desh. He's got piercings and tats, a member of some Anarchy group, and lives in a commune. My brother, a committed liberal, ain't pleased, although will never admit that.

I would personally like to see you get off your ass and work but you insist on living on welfare and other government handouts. You already have your Socialism, why push it on the rest of us?
 How true. When I ax'd Wanker about personal responsibility, he stated that he didn't want it.

Without reading the thread all I can say is, "Why would I care what Voight sees as problems with the US?"

I may agree with him (I don't know, as I said all I've read is the title), but he has no more capacity to understand politics than I do, has no more say in politics than I do.

Why should we listen to the guy?

When Streep speaks out about her opinion, I don't care.

When Bullock speaks out, I still don't care (but at least I like to look at her speak.)

Now, there are actors and actresses that have some gravitas, who have held offices or ran for them, or created PACs, etc.

Has Voight done this? I may be speaking out of turn.

I would personally like to see a socialist America. As well as an America that has kicked its addiction to religion and realized that it is science that is fact.

LOL science is a process. It's a collection of methods. Facts can be borne from using science.

And america's addiction to religion? STFU, idiot. This country is about as religion free as you can expect. We have a seperation of church and state. Jebus H christ, you are just a blabbering troll

Jolie later indicated that she no longer wished to pursue a relationship with her father, and said, "My father and I don't speak. I don't hold any anger toward him. I don't believe that somebody's family becomes their blood. Because my son's adopted, and families are earned." She stated that she did not want to publicize her reasons for her estrangement from her father, but because she had adopted her son, she did not think it was healthy for her to associate with Voight.[15]

Who says you have to read it or even comment on it?

Seriously, who really gives a sh*t about Jon Voight and Angelina Jolie's relationship?

Either you like his article or you don't.

I could personally care less what the guy thinks but that's just me and not to say others need to feel the same.

Who says you have to read it or even comment on it?
I didn't read it, and I commented on the fact that people seem to believe that it means more because some actor said it. Why should I care about what some actor has to say about anything? Nothing makes them more "wise" or capable.

I don't give a damn who wrote it. It was the message I found to be most interesting. No wonder the left doesn't like it.

So that's why there are pictures of Voight holding his grandson, huh?

Love the way you speak for the left.

We don't like it because it's a dishonest portrayal loaded with talk-radio thinking and inflammatory buzz words, written by someone whose opinions carry no more weight than those of posters like all of us.

Well she is from California, what do you expect?

Tutu is good people. This wasn't really against her, more of a rant against the general order of things...
