Why do you feel political association matters? Are you to imply that the current set of mods are not being fair?

No, it's just an excuse to seize power. If we can't find a problem to address, it's easier to just make one up - then we can make subtle hints at it's existence without fully saying it exists, finally swaying popular opinion and kicking you to the digital curb. :vik:

in all fairness, damo runs the site and keeps the current moderators in line, so there is no real excuse to replace any of them, but maybe provide a backup mod if one of the regular mods wants to go on vacation

there are two main forums, current events where just about anything goes and above plain politics where there are more restrictions

damo strongly believes in freedom of speech hence his policy for current events and provides an alternative site (above plain politics) for more polite debate

Libertad knows his Manifesto!!

Haha, cute. :o But unlike this board, capitalism just isn't working - we know the problem exists, the public acknowledges it, now we just need to agree on a solution. I guarantee you that if you walk down a city block, you'll find that most people don't like where the country/world is headed. But the problem arises when we try to decide why it's broke, when it broke, and how to fix it.

Communism probably isn't the answer, but neither is capitalism.

Yay for turning this back onto politics.
