MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough has been alarmed over President Donald Trump’s apparent “cognitive decline” since the early days of his administration, but he said voters are finally beginning to notice.

The “Morning Joe” host has known Trump for years, and he says the president doesn’t seem as mentally sharp, but he said the coronavirus crisis has laid bare his deficiencies just over six months before the election.

On the 5 million [tests] a day, the guy that runs testing said there was no way this was ever going to happen on this planet or any other planet,” Scarborough said. “He said that in the morning to Time magazine, then in the afternoon, Donald Trump, who seems to be a little more confused lately, and contradicting his own people, it’s truly disturbing. I’m starting to get really concerned, even more concerned about how quickly he gets confused.”

The death toll has passed 61,000 in the U.S., but Americans can see for themselves that the president seems more concerned with its impact on his re-election.

“He’s in a complete meltdown, a complete meltdown, threatening at one point, I think, to sue his campaign manager,” Scarborough said, “who, of course, many people claimed that [Brad] Parscale used his position to enrich himself. It is causing concerns. Maybe he is more focused on getting more rich than helping Donald Trump.”

“The numbers are horrific in the swing states,” he added. “They’re even bad in Texas, they’re bad in North Carolina, they’re bad all across the United States. Donald Trump, of course, is not going to blame himself because of how badly he is doing in these afternoon briefings, because he stumbles over words. Sometimes he seems to fall asleep in the middle of meetings. He seems to be, you know — people have been talking about his cognitive decline for some time and how it may impact us in a crisis. Now, of course, worries that a cognitive decline are starting to catch up with him. We’re starting to pay. But, my gosh, Americans are noticing, and the poll numbers are just collapsing.

His 3-minute solo talk at the presser a few days ago was scary. He showed the inability to follow a subject he sought to talk about, He repeated 2 and 3 times. He made little sense. Your options are , he is losing it, or he is revealing himself. Trump is not very bright and filters every action about how it profits him. He is a repulsive person.

Many of my in-laws and friends and colleagues the last two months, Republicans and independents and a few Dems, have repeatedly remarked on Trump's mental decline.

I hear the same. The conversation has shifted from his handling of the economy to his bizarro comments during his Corona briefings.

SHHHHHHH! Be vewy vewy quiet! He's looking for wabbit holes to go down! Donald don't like hearing these kinds of things.

He's been tearing his best advisors a new asshole for trying to explain this to him at the White House!

He seems fine to me, though his stress level is through the roof...which is to be expected...and never should have happened....the sedition that he has been forced to deal with should never happen to anyone.

Trump Is Losing His Mind Over Reports He’s Losing His Mind

Trump has never been the picture of mental stability, but over the last few weeks he’s appeared to crank up the crazy from about a 45 to a 337. From seemingly proposing intravenous Lysol as a coronavirus cure to claiming the United States is close to testing 5 million people a day for COVID-19—a number so completely absurd that he might as well have said we’ll soon be running 8 billion tests a day—to reportedly threatening to sue his campaign manager over a dimming 2020 outlook, the president has well and truly lost whatever remaining shred of sanity he once had on reserve.

He is his own worst enemy, but he just cannot pass up the chance to be in front of the cameras no badly how it hurts his re-selection chances.

I worked in dementia care during part of my career. He shows many signs of increasing cognitive decline... repeating the same words/phrases, groping for the correct word and substituting something else, inability to keep a train of thought going for more than a sentence or two. He can pull it off with a script and a teleprompter, but impromptu speaking is highlighting his issues.

joe Scarborough is a fucking idiot.

Many of my in-laws and friends and colleagues the last two months, Republicans and independents and a few Dems, have repeatedly remarked on Trump's mental decline.

My independent mother and Republican father, both of whom voted for Trump in 2016, have said the same.

Unfortunately, they seem to be the exception; the overwhelming majority of Trump voters I know still believe he’s the second coming of Jesus Christ.

Hawkeye, my friend; the President IS sedition central in the US.
