'Hawkeye, my friend; the President IS sedition central in the US.'
And dont me friend, I dont know you from Satin.
Friend, shut your pie hole. Trump has exceeded his power etc., and he is the Sedition Master.

MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough has been alarmed over President Donald Trump’s apparent “cognitive decline” since the early days of his administration, but he said voters are finally beginning to notice.

The “Morning Joe” host has known Trump for years, and he says the president doesn’t seem as mentally sharp, but he said the coronavirus crisis has laid bare his deficiencies just over six months before the election.

On the 5 million [tests] a day, the guy that runs testing said there was no way this was ever going to happen on this planet or any other planet,” Scarborough said. “He said that in the morning to Time magazine, then in the afternoon, Donald Trump, who seems to be a little more confused lately, and contradicting his own people, it’s truly disturbing. I’m starting to get really concerned, even more concerned about how quickly he gets confused.”

The death toll has passed 61,000 in the U.S., but Americans can see for themselves that the president seems more concerned with its impact on his re-election.

“He’s in a complete meltdown, a complete meltdown, threatening at one point, I think, to sue his campaign manager,” Scarborough said, “who, of course, many people claimed that [Brad] Parscale used his position to enrich himself. It is causing concerns. Maybe he is more focused on getting more rich than helping Donald Trump.”

“The numbers are horrific in the swing states,” he added. “They’re even bad in Texas, they’re bad in North Carolina, they’re bad all across the United States. Donald Trump, of course, is not going to blame himself because of how badly he is doing in these afternoon briefings, because he stumbles over words. Sometimes he seems to fall asleep in the middle of meetings. He seems to be, you know — people have been talking about his cognitive decline for some time and how it may impact us in a crisis. Now, of course, worries that a cognitive decline are starting to catch up with him. We’re starting to pay. But, my gosh, Americans are noticing, and the poll numbers are just collapsing.

I am noticing your lack of instinctive awareness cognitivity to existing as a single reproductive replacement to the direct populaiton spaced apart now. Rather pay to play type cast character in a collective mind than stand your time being one of a kind.

If I never wanted to understand life you would be a hero instead of a martyr wishing real was anything other than your time occupying space now. Misery loves company and one can judge people by the company they keep as friends in constant need of validation and allies against those they cannot conquer verbally, so they can out vote those able to stand as timed apart now.

tyranny in democracy.

Giggle giggle He was a Republican congressman from Florida. Unlike you, he learned.

Joe used to be a good Congressman as well as good friends with Trump. He got hired by PMSNBC and began to conform to the establishment liberalism. Then he married Mika, probably a great lay, got pussy-whipped and completely lost sense of political reality. Once Trump got elected Joe, figuratively, dove head-first into the deep end with no water in the pool, and he hasn't made a lick of sense since.

I am so glad that you agree with Joe. He is usually right on!

There is nothing in that article relating voters noticing any cognitive decline. A drop in the polls could be caused by many factors probably more related to the virus or economy. The latest Gallup (4/28/20) show his approval rating is 49% approve v. 47% disapprove which is among the best of his entire three years.

The idea is not to cherry pick the polls you like and ignore the rest. Trump is in deep shit in many of the states which had voted for Obama, and a good number of "safer" republican states such as GA, NC, AZ, FL. People have finally begun to realize what a horrible human being he is , and the piss poor job of negotiating through the virus. How many of his lies can people listen to before saying, enough is enough.

My independent mother and Republican father, both of whom voted for Trump in 2016, have said the same.

Unfortunately, they seem to be the exception; the overwhelming majority of Trump voters I know still believe he’s the second coming of Jesus Christ.
My family, too.

We can finally see the RCP average of approval polling drop away. Look at that black line plummet near the right side of the graph:

It has been such a long time coming. DT is indeed the world's greatest conman, but Lincoln was right. You can fool all the people some of the time and some of the people all the time. But you certainly can not fool all the people all the time.

I am so glad to hear more and more people are admitting he is full of BS. And this crisis is messing with him because he cannot spin the numbers. He can say anything he wants but the numbers are the numbers.

The point was that nothing in the article has anything to do with voters noticing any cognitive decline in Trump. That is true even if all the polls showed huge declines.

It seems both parties are fighting to prove the nominee of the other party is not mentally fit. And they both have a point.

The point is your insane insistence that Trump is polling well. His numbers are a disaster, which of course you will never admit.

Where did I insist Trump is polling well? As I clearly said, the article makes no connection between Trump's mental state and the voters' views being affected by any changes in that mental state. There is no attempt to even link those two things in the article--it is only in the title of the thread that you made that giant leap: "voters are noticing Trump’s ‘cognitive decline" with zero evidence to support your assertion.

That is equally true whether he is polling great or terrible. I accept the polling numbers using the RealClearPolitics average which show national results plus selected states although it is much too early to make any intelligent conclusions.

Read your post #28 once again.

Read your post #28 once again.

I cited one poll showing his approval ratings were up. I used Gallup because that is considered the most reputable and complete poll of presidential approval. The site allows you to compare any president to others. The RealClear average shows a narrowing between approval and disapproval scores. My point has nothing to do with how he is polling.

That is a far cry from claiming he is polling well and has nothing to do with my point that your OP title was misleading and inaccurate and just reflects partisan bias.

Trump makes Dems with his stupidity and lack of presidential tenor. He is a huge embarrassment. He totally fucked up Corona .Trump also causes Repubs to walk away or change parties. Many think he could win so they are not getting off the train. But that does not mean they believe the clown knows what he is doing.

He is his own worst enemy, but he just cannot pass up the chance to be in front of the cameras no badly how it hurts his re-selection chances.

I worked in dementia care during part of my career. He shows many signs of increasing cognitive decline... repeating the same words/phrases, groping for the correct word and substituting something else, inability to keep a train of thought going for more than a sentence or two. He can pull it off with a script and a teleprompter, but impromptu speaking is highlighting his issues.

What about his paranoia that everybody's out to get him? One of my friend's grandma had dementia and over time she wouldn't eat what her caregiver prepared, because she thought she was being poisoned.

That's a good point. I have never in my life seen an adult man whine so much about "unfair" and cry about being so picked on. He puts the flake in snowflake.
