Friend, shut your pie hole. Trump has exceeded his power etc., and he is the Sedition Master.Nope....he is powered by the people, as the Constitution envisions.

MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough has been alarmed over President Donald Trump’s apparent “cognitive decline” since the early days of his administration, but he said voters are finally beginning to notice.
The “Morning Joe” host has known Trump for years, and he says the president doesn’t seem as mentally sharp, but he said the coronavirus crisis has laid bare his deficiencies just over six months before the election.
On the 5 million [tests] a day, the guy that runs testing said there was no way this was ever going to happen on this planet or any other planet,” Scarborough said. “He said that in the morning to Time magazine, then in the afternoon, Donald Trump, who seems to be a little more confused lately, and contradicting his own people, it’s truly disturbing. I’m starting to get really concerned, even more concerned about how quickly he gets confused.”
The death toll has passed 61,000 in the U.S., but Americans can see for themselves that the president seems more concerned with its impact on his re-election.
“He’s in a complete meltdown, a complete meltdown, threatening at one point, I think, to sue his campaign manager,” Scarborough said, “who, of course, many people claimed that [Brad] Parscale used his position to enrich himself. It is causing concerns. Maybe he is more focused on getting more rich than helping Donald Trump.”
“The numbers are horrific in the swing states,” he added. “They’re even bad in Texas, they’re bad in North Carolina, they’re bad all across the United States. Donald Trump, of course, is not going to blame himself because of how badly he is doing in these afternoon briefings, because he stumbles over words. Sometimes he seems to fall asleep in the middle of meetings. He seems to be, you know — people have been talking about his cognitive decline for some time and how it may impact us in a crisis. Now, of course, worries that a cognitive decline are starting to catch up with him. We’re starting to pay. But, my gosh, Americans are noticing, and the poll numbers are just collapsing.

Joe used to be a good Congressman as well as good friends with Trump. He got hired by PMSNBC and began to conform to the establishment liberalism. Then he married Mika, probably a great lay, got pussy-whipped and completely lost sense of political reality. Once Trump got elected Joe, figuratively, dove head-first into the deep end with no water in the pool, and he hasn't made a lick of sense since.
I am so glad that you agree with Joe. He is usually right on!
There is nothing in that article relating voters noticing any cognitive decline. A drop in the polls could be caused by many factors probably more related to the virus or economy. The latest Gallup (4/28/20) show his approval rating is 49% approve v. 47% disapprove which is among the best of his entire three years.

My family, too.My independent mother and Republican father, both of whom voted for Trump in 2016, have said the same.
Unfortunately, they seem to be the exception; the overwhelming majority of Trump voters I know still believe he’s the second coming of Jesus Christ.

The idea is not to cherry pick the polls you like and ignore the rest. Trump is in deep shit in many of the states which had voted for Obama, and a good number of "safer" republican states such as GA, NC, AZ, FL. People have finally begun to realize what a horrible human being he is , and the piss poor job of negotiating through the virus. How many of his lies can people listen to before saying, enough is enough.
The point was that nothing in the article has anything to do with voters noticing any cognitive decline in Trump. That is true even if all the polls showed huge declines.
It seems both parties are fighting to prove the nominee of the other party is not mentally fit. And they both have a point.
I am so glad that you agree with Joe. He is usually right on!
The point is your insane insistence that Trump is polling well. His numbers are a disaster, which of course you will never admit.
Where did I insist Trump is polling well? As I clearly said, the article makes no connection between Trump's mental state and the voters' views being affected by any changes in that mental state. There is no attempt to even link those two things in the article--it is only in the title of the thread that you made that giant leap: "voters are noticing Trump’s ‘cognitive decline" with zero evidence to support your assertion.
That is equally true whether he is polling great or terrible. I accept the polling numbers using the RealClearPolitics average which show national results plus selected states although it is much too early to make any intelligent conclusions.
Read your post #28 once again.

He is his own worst enemy, but he just cannot pass up the chance to be in front of the cameras no badly how it hurts his re-selection chances.
I worked in dementia care during part of my career. He shows many signs of increasing cognitive decline... repeating the same words/phrases, groping for the correct word and substituting something else, inability to keep a train of thought going for more than a sentence or two. He can pull it off with a script and a teleprompter, but impromptu speaking is highlighting his issues.
What about his paranoia that everybody's out to get him? One of my friend's grandma had dementia and over time she wouldn't eat what her caregiver prepared, because she thought she was being poisoned.
