In Michigan we had an emergency manager installed by Repub governor. He changed the water supply by himself with the authority given him by Gov. Snyder. So he destroyed the Flint water supply and poisoned thousands of people with lead and other chemicals. It isn't fixed 3 plus years later.
Michigan had a ballot proposal that passed removing the emergency manager. The Repubs in Congress voted it right back in a month later, and included a provision so we could not have another ballot proposal on the EM. Shows you what respect the Repub have for the vote of the people.
Fuck the Repubs. that is how they work. Laws ,rules and voters are issues to be sidestepped. They were Trump before Trump.

Social Security is funded by taxing checks of workers. It can not spend more than it takes in. Exactly what mechanism makes it possible for it to go bankrupt? If it does not get enough to to pay out all the promises, it will cut benefits . Not possible to go bankrupt. Can rightys think?
